Great effort Tigers. We didn’t get the chocolates but damn we gave everything to try and pinch that. Credit to Carlton as well it was an incredible game of footy, they were just a bit too good for us in the end. Bad luck to the poor buggers who got injured especially Gibcus my heart goes to him. I think that we are in a great spot as a football club and not a single person at the club should be upset with that outcome. We get 10 days to prepare for Port at the G, who I think we can beat. Tonight proved we can compete with the best

I was expecting you guys to win by 60+, before I knew Martin, lynch and nankervis. Even with them, I expected 40+

An awesome game of footy, the tigers were brave throughout the match with 3 players down and really challenged the blues throughout the match but unfortunately on a regular basis we just can’t seem to win these close games.
Yeah I didn’t really care we lost. I didn’t really even expect what I saw tonight I was blown away. That performance was absolutely fantastic, we kept with them for 4 quarters. We beat them at their own game in the middle. I think our team is in a great spot now we have 10 days off until we play Port. Losing meatball again sucked, Young going down hurt but Gibcus going down was just heartbreaking
@@78macka Yep, I am satisfied with the response in effort that Richmond have produced last night against Carlton. We were able to keep within touching reach for the whole game with 3 players on the bench. If we can continue this effort for next week against Port, hopefully the result will fall in our favour.
I'm surprised Richmond kept up at all. Carlton played terribly but still won. It seems like they went in over confident but the better team won. Should have been by more the tigers were gifted ridiculous free kicks that resulted in goals so should have been a Carlton win by 4 or 5 goals. I had tigers finishing bottom 4 but now I reckon maybe 12th. Felt like tigers player their gf. But like I said earlier they done ok but Carlton were off.
Feel like both teams should be proud, including their supporter bases - tigers have looked slightly off last season, and the blues held their nerve. Unreal game to watch as a neutral 🔥
