In this video, I talk about my failure as a beat-seller! When I started this TH-cam channel back in 2018, the main purpose what to sell beats. For the next year I created tutorials and beatmaking videos and it occurred to me that rappers we're not my main demographic, it was producers! So I am officially quitting beat selling, and I am turning my beatstars page into a sample store! I'm really surprised no one has thought if this yet! With services like Splice coming in to play, I think this is a great way to move forward as an independent producer. Let me know what you guys think of this idea!

I f you have a youtube channel of uploading your beats in regular manner. Then its easy to Sell your beats on a store.. I'm still getting beat sales from beats uploaded 1 year ago.. Thats the best advantage having a beat store to get upsells..

I had a debate with a youtuber a year ago about this very subject. Using splice and loopkits and how easy it is to make beats now days. How today, it seems like there are WAY more producers than rappers. He was saying that its a good thing, but pretty soon there will be no market for selling beats. With all the tutorials and loop kits and sample packs, rappers will be able to make their own beats.

Beats will always be more in demand and more popular than samples and drum kits, loops, etc.. And he is far from the first one to do this.
