I think Lee might be the single most talented freestyle wrestler we have right now in the USA. Not most accomplished, most elite talent.

      Dake

Dake is by far the best defensive wrestler we have, but it's difficult for him to come back when he's down because he lacks the offensive fire power.
What Lee pulled off against Gilman Round 2 at the 2nd Round, is what will separate his success from Dake's short comings.

I think with Lee's great technique, and then his incredible strength, he's just almost unbeatable.

That's an ass whooping right there. Had they called that a take down at the end of the first people would view this match waaay differently.

Can someone tell me if Lee is small for this weight class? He seems small. I remember seeing Zane wrestling internationally and he looked small. What will Spencer look like?

Lee is the best freestyle wrestler the U.S. has got right now apart from a focused Vito Arujau

Zaur Uguev (2018 world champion 2019 world champion 2020 Olympic champion 6x Russian national champion all 57kg wasn’t allowed to wrestle in 2022 with wins over Gilman, Abakarov, Rahman Amouzad, Arsen Harutyunyan. All but the last one are world champions) Rei Higuchi (2022 61kg world champion 2016 Olympic silver medalist with wins over Arsen Harutyunyan, Seth Gross, and everyone at 61kg) Zelimkhan Abakarov (2022 world champion with notable wins over Gilman, Uguev Micic) Stevan Micic (2023 57kg world champion with wins over Uguev, Abakarov, and Higuchi in a row) (Arsen Harutyunyan 2021 2022 61kg world bronze medalist 2023 57kg world bronze medalist 4x European champion with notable wins Abakarov. Note he usually tech falls all of his opponents and only loses to Uguev, Higuchi and Daton Fix) and Roman Bravo Young (2x NCAA champion) there are many other guys but those are the top guys.

Good list. However if Lee is truly 100%, he’s better than all of these guys.

Lee is limping pretty badly. No way he does much at the Olympics.

He looked fine vs Gilman, don’t really see him limping crazy either
