By the way, I think this key with the space for the rollers and the holes where the retaining pins are, combined with the deep holes, is quite prone to breakage. So it's probably unsuitable for a building where lots of different people handle the keys.

Thank you Gazz my friend, i´m better now, my voice come back to me ;o))
It´s an awesome lock to play with, easier than Kaba or Keso, but very cool to practice with small pins in several rows.
Thanks a lot for watching and comment my friend ;o)

Generally speaking, it is the same as KESO, BKS-janus or KABA-gemini and so on. The high number of locking pins and precision distinguish these systems. The key way is generally quite large with these reversible keys, which makes life easy for the lock picker. Only with the rollers in the key, which are actually not necessary for the function. With keys, it is often more about sensational design than functionality.
nice video, thanks and greetings to spain.

hey there my friend! is the same concept than Kaba or Keso, but the tolerances are worse in this one, plus it doesn´t has beveled pins so to set the pins is way easier than Kaba. In this case, the key and the keyway are way bigger than Kaba, so I think is more resistent than Kaba key. Here they are buildings pin mastered with kaba keys (expert) and they are a lot of problems with broken keys, people don´t get in the key properly and when they try to turn the key brakes. I´m agree with you that the rollers make the key weaker than could be, but it seems stronger than the kaba ones. I think the rollers are to prevent the key from being easily copied, rather than to make it attractive to the eye (although it certainly is).
Thanks a lot for watching and comment, is much appreciated ;o)

@@TallanPick, _my opinion the ROLLERS in this key are more Show, the cylinder is also working when the key has the dimple for these pins instead these ROLLERS._
_i also seen KESO-Keys where deep dimple in a key, and opposite also a deep dimple, and than the key often breaks on this point._
_BUT if You avoid deep dimples in the key, than it is easy to pick the cylinder, bekause all pins are the smallest size ... and so on._
_if You are collector or have Lockpicking, than You see cyliinders with other eyes, as you need reliable locks for every day use._

That was an impressive pick !
Each time you changed the tension tool I thought you would lose something, I was full of concentration as you running through the pick journey, and right at the end when you started to relax the tension tool I held my breath, brilliant 20 pin challenge 👍 👍

    • @TallanPick
      @TallanPick  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Thank you Tony my dear friend, it´s always hard to set the last pins in a lock like this one, and sometimes you checked so many times the pins that you slighly overset one or more of them, to release tension is the way to get the opening ;o))))
This is a lock that is not easy to pick, but is way easier than Kaba and Keso, so a nice lock to practice with several small pin rows.
Thanks a lot for watching and comment my friend, is really appreciated ;o)
