Using a digital out on the Zen Mini, would it sound as good as the digital out on the Zen 3?

I'm sure this is a good product, but for what it is and does I find these streaming products very expensive, not just Innuos.

They are great for sure, we feel the price is justified in the quality of the product but we fully understand the prices of these sort of products. Thanks for leaving a comment!

Can you use the innuous app to push music to a Dlna streamer like my cyrus streamer, or must I use the cyrus app (cadence) to effectively pull music from the drive, in which case what are the folder structures. Is the innuous app only used if you use it as a player sending music via usb to your own dac. I want a nas which I can tailor the file structures.

Hello there, which Cyrus Streamer do you have? Also which amplifier are you using? The Innuos can be used in two forms of configuration. As a NAS drive and also as a NAS/Streamer where you push the music through via USB.

Frank Harvey Hi Fi Excellence I use a cyrus stream x signature, but the issue is really the interface app. Cyrus cadence is rubbish. I want a device that has intuitive search capability, eg search by cd quality or hi res, then do a further search by genre, then album or artist etc. Then add the tracks to multiple saved playlists without restrictions on number of tracks in playlist (like some third party apps). Much of my vast library is hidden because of poor interfaces limiting ‘smart’ search capability in this way. Do you know of any devices or apps that you can search using such functionality. A streamer, but preferably nas type device.

Another solution for you may be the app called BubbleUPNP. Have you heard of this? It might be worth researching for your requirements. In addition what amplifier do you use? You could possibly go straight into it from the Innuos. I do tend to agree that Cadence isn't the most user friedly app out there.

Frank Harvey Hi Fi Excellence no bubble upnp isn’t good, no smart function. Minimserver?

Unfortunately I haven't tried out the latter. I haven't had issues with Bubble personally but sorry to hear it isn't for you.

How dose this compare to the bluesound vault 2i?

Unfortunalty we don't stock the bluesound vault 2i so i can't say i've had any experience, but the Innous is a fantastic piece of kit and is certainly something looking into!

You can connect it to Sonos One's and other wireless music systems to play the music you have ripped :)
