Great Video on Spray guns with so much info on current systems! Making me think about purchasing a Gm4700 gun! New to your channel, you have awesome topics! Rob
When I decided to go AAA I chose a tritech T5 coupled with the wagner 4700 and an 8 gallon compressor. I can use the T5 as standard airless when I want to and switch over to AAA for cabinets. It ends up being cheaper and more versatile than dedicated AAA units.
HVLP, for the benefit of the viewers - hopefully everyone reads all the comments - by HVLP what is really meant is TURBINE. My air-assisted airless guns, my CAS (compressed air supply) guns are all HVLP. My turbine guns are all HVLP. Turbine. Maybe it's because turbine guns use a garden hose to deliver the air and the air is supplied by a vacuum cleaner type motor, namely a turbine. It really is inconsequential that there's less than 10 psi through the air cap. Transfer efficiency is also not the giant issue that a finisher needs to think about. What matters most is the quality of the cured finish, and that's greatly dependent on the quality of the fan plus the consistency of the prep work and the spraying technique of the finisher. The greatest transfer efficiency is from the paint brush. Ok, let's all go back to the days before spray guns, put on berets, grow Pierre-type mustaches, grow some chin, and do the Rembrandt & wrist thing, 95%+transfer efficiency. See my point? To paraphrase Warren Beatty, I do.
Thank you for making these very educational videos. I never heard you guys mention Graco g15/g40 guns which seam very similar to Wagner Aircoat. G15 is designed to work with only up to 1500psi fluid pressure. They are both 20%-30% more expensive than Wagner so I was wondering do you know how they compare to each other.
Yes, I use graco G40 - Wagner diaphragm pro gold - the bull rolair compressor and we do Beautiful Factory Finish every day Diaphragm pump works great can go very low pressure 650 psi and keep this uniform G40 Pressure I use around 28 psi - 35 psi dont need too much air And if we need use this gun just in airless mode (heavy paints) this gun support 4000 psi . Thanks for you videos you have very interesting information
Is there a big difference im performance and quality of finish between this GM4700 vs the US Version Titan GM3600 ? Also, I suspect they use the same flat tips…can someone confirm? Thanks!
Compared to air assist airless, would airless be more user friendly and with comparable results spraying water based coatings? Contemplating the titan 440
You mentioned that in few weeks you were going to have a shoot out?? Would love to see a gun shoot out with the same pump and finish! Air coat, Kremlin and Iwata.....just to find the best atomization at the lowest pressure.....??
@@goodlife1500 Great, one question man as I just got it used. Coming from piston airless machines I have 2 things that have me worried. 1 One in prime mode the machine primes fine but if I trigger the gun I also get fluid…is that normal? 2 My pressure is kind of wobbly in the sense that the gauge is not steady firm….it builds pressure but after it get to the pressure I want the needle kind of shakes and goes down 200-400 psi when I trigger the gun. Are these behaviors normal? Thanks in advance
I feel like I enrolled in a Master class. Excellent video!
That text message got me... I closed the video to respond to the text lol. I was like, "sounds like a fun job!" Lol

I'm runnung both the G40 and the G15 guns. I have a big assortment of tips. Spraying converevarnish and also catalyzed primers, all solvent materials.

Yes airless is the easiest to use.
You mentioned that in few weeks you were going to have a shoot out??

I picked up the Graco 595 air assist still trying to figure it out.
You will get it.
@@ericreason6559 is this gun good enough for cabinets or something like a kremlin ?
Anybody has information on the titan aircoat capspray?
Late answer but I just got one, do you also have one?
@@DownloaderVideo yes I bought one, I love it I use it mostly for refinishing

That dude must hate Fuji. Didn’t even mentioned them. 🫤
