I have learned so much from Professor Jim Al-Khalili. He is a genius. I could only hope to be as smart as him.
Why is the third experiment with the laser “card game” subtracted? How did you arrive at that equation as the one to use? Why was only one result subtracted, especially since you went into the experiment with the equation on the board.
cool! i took an undergrad quantum mechanics class at uni, but this explained the connections between simple concepts like the PE and BBR way better that then prof.
Abramson Collision Hypothesis (from Collision Theory): infrared photons are absorbed by electrons, increasing the speed of molecuules. When two molecules or atoms with infrared photons collide, their infrared photons add energies amd release a single photon, usually a red, orange, or yellow. An experiment to prove/disprove this would find the shortest wavelength that motivates molecules to move, so the upper limit of color emitted should be half the wavelength of the upper limit of the infrared photons released, or somewhere around yellow.
A very special communicator, Professos Khalili makes this topic ALMOST clear! How real is reality? I've watched a dozen times and read a few other explanations and I'm still 10% baffled. That's progress anyway!

Professor Khlalili: Since you are an experimentalist: Should you be so inclined, could you reassess Bell's inequality under the premises if CIG Theory is correct. Would the interpretation be different? Would Einstein be vindicated. My guess is yes, he would but, in the context of Bell's work, I've nothing to back it up. Oh well I'm just talking to myself again.

Real is what exist "outside" our minds, contrary to "imaginary" that exist inside
a mind. We (humans) have the incredible arrogance of trying to impose our
intuitions about how reality has to be, in such a way that if something is
anti-intuitive we say that it cannot be "real". So, if objects (electrons, photons
etc) behave in a non-local way (as QM predicts), we say that those objects are
"not real", why?: because "we know" that reality has to be local, why?: because
"that is obvious" why? because that is strongly intuitive. That is, experiments
demonstrate that objects do not follow locality, but instead of accepting that
reality can be highly anti-intuitive, most physicist adopt an incredibly arrogant
position and say instead that those objects cannot be "real" because reality has
to necessarily be local as their intuition says. More, the fact that the quantum
world is so weird, in a way that nobody could have imagined, is strong evidence of
the existence of a reality "outside" and independent of our minds. The fact that
reality in the quantum realm is so anti-intuitive is to be expected, because our
"intuition" as well as our perceptual-world evolved to optimize our survival chances by
developing an intuition of the realm of reality most immediate to our living experience.
Quanta are not objects. They are properties. This was correctly explained to you in high school, you simply don't remember.
It just seems like the dealer was travelling back in time and rigging each pair after he knew what your winning condition was. It's not really the case that it's unknowable and random... The randomness seems to be the conclusion because you have assumed traveling back in time is a constraint. But it just well may not be is what is proven here.

Einstein was a fraud. The biggest fraud ever. There is no such thing as relativity when you have an absolute. That absolute is the speed of light.
1) SOL is constant in a vacuum
2) SOL is the fastest anything can travel in this universe
3) Light travels independent of its source.
That means you can measure your speed against the speed of light and come up with the same value every time.
Relativity is only valid when you want to compare two co-moving objects. Since neither object can travel faster than light, that makes motion absolute. And time, being a measurement of motion, makes time absolute.

@jeppeachtonnielsen6138 there is no such thing as time-dilation from acceleration in space. Get that nonsense out of your head. Einstein’s own light clock thought experiment shows that the force of light changes the further you move away from the source. Or, if moving towards the source, increases. It's no different than standing 20' feet from a fire hose and measuring the force and then moving back 40 feet and measuring the amount of force.
Clocks measure one's motion through space. As speed increases, clock cycles decrease. Greater distance, less force.
Synchronized clocks measure relative MOTION. Not time. Quit drinking the kool-aid. It's rotting your brain and not allowing you to think for yourself.
I can explain the gap between general relativity quantum mechanics in five minutes to a third grader. Einstein did not make any mistakes.

@@ФилипВасилевски Well, if science, or anyone, views their existence as IF it is ONLY a physical existence and that consequently, our consciousness is merely a physically produced phenomenon. then relativity or quantum theory will appear to be the most important thing to understand.
That means, that IF reality and our experience of this physical dimension is actually a spiritual or nonphysical phenomenon, science is missing that very fundamental understanding! Consciousness is the nature of reality, and physical dimensions are the product of consciousness. This fact is more important than whether relativity or quantum theory can afford insight into the true nature of existence.

I've gotta say this is well put together video but is absolutely abysmal and explaining anything at all...
First off the anologies are so ridiculously convoluted and non sensicle and secondly the whole thing ends on an experiment and equation that is not explained in the slightest and we are just told X means Y.
Why are we talking about quantum mechanics being observed and comparing them to human vision?
Human vision is completely irrelevant and entirely imaginary (LITTERALLY), Sight is the physical process of a bioelectrical reaction in our eyes caused by the properties of the photons that enter, which is then interpreted by an infinitely complex arrangement of electrical wiring (The Brain) which emerges as our consciousness.
"Observing" AKA measuring/reading/detecting an elementary particle has nothing to do with sight (Seriously WTF Has a chemical reaction in your cone cells have to do with the spin of particle in a machine with 0 physical connection to you)...
Why does every single video on quantum mechanics talk about observing particles in such misleading ways... How do you measure/test an object that is the single most fundamental "thing" we know of, there is no "sub-particle particle" that photons give off that you can detect with a sensor to give you information...
So what then? How is it possible to observe quantum mechanics if they are the final stop/component? Well we use all of that fancy machinery and computing power that i will not pretend to understand... What do these things do to extract information about that elementary particle? We detect changes... We shoot said particle or bounce another particle off it which then reacts with what ever sensor you have designed to extrapolate information.
When we say observe what we really mean is that we physically interact with the particle using whatever it is geniuses use to detect these particles... So when we say an elementary particle only changes or becomes a certain state when being observed what we really mean is THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY TO EXTRAPOLATE "DATA" / "KNOW" WHAT A PARTICLE IS WITHOUT PHYSICALLY REACTING / ACTING ON SAID PARTICLE...
On the human scale observing / extracting data is simple, The photons reacting with an apple has no relevant effect on it's existence when visually observing it... Using sonar to to react with surrounding matter in the ocean has no relevant effect when we need to map geometry... Using a digital thermometer to detect the energy emitted from an object has no physical effect on the object we are measuring... BUT when we go all the way down to an elementary particle its physically impossible to measure a property of said particle without affecting it in some way unless we discover some other "thing" that is emmited from said particle that we can detect completely separate from the particle...
This all sound incredibly complicated and a complete mess compared to "Observing a particle defines the particle" but you can put in laymens term very easily without causing all this pointless confusion and false equivilances:
It's impossible to "observe" a particle without directly interacting with the particle therefore we can never truly know anything about said particle because to observe it we have to react with it and therefor essentially contaminate it in the process.
And then we get to the ridiculous card analogy... What the analogy represents is never truly clear, The things that happen within the "game" are never explained or linked to the real world physics it apparently represents...
The cards represent a particle ok, But the dealer is a completely pointless entity; regardless whether SpookyAAAD is real or not there is no governing "thing" behind it, they just exist that way.
Then it really becomes senseless, What the hell do the Games/Rules represent? what do the color of the cards represent?
Then more importantly HOW IN HOLY JESUS DO YOU JUST DYNAMICALLY DECIDE THE RULES... This isn't actually a card game It's the physical properties of physical space... I genuinely can even guess what this is supposed to represent in quantum mechanics so your analogy is completely dysfunctional and ends up doing the complete opposite of it's intended purpose: make complex information easily understandable.
And finally the experiment which is meant to prove to us which theory is correct... #1 The equation provided literally means nothing to anyone because it's never explained or linked to reality... #2 The experiment in question also means absolutely nothing to anyone because it's never explained how it works or why it works or why the results mean the things they do...
Lasers make entangled particles... Machine "observes" particle pairs... Machine plays game?.. Mysterious dials with mysterious function are apparently the counterpart to the rules in our card game?.. We then adjust mysterious dials to "Change" the rules and the mystery statistics spat out by the mystery game entered into our mystery equation some how correlates to Einstein wrong, Particles only exist when we "observe" them and instantaneously determine the properties of its entangled twin faster than reletivistically possible...
