- On 17th September 2013, around 11:52 a.m. in the Tannery Marketplace parking lot, a woman went to an ATM when she noticed a man had stopped his truck near the Water Street machine and was masturbating in her line of vision. The man quickly sped off after realizing that she saw him.
The woman reported the incident to the police and described the man and the partial license plate of the vehicle. A few days later she was walking by the police department and noticed the truck parked in the department’s parking lot. She thought that the police had caught the man but in reality, the police hadn’t zeroed in on that man yet. When she asked about the truck in the station’s driveway, they informed her that it belonged to Sergeant Stephen Chaisson. From that point on, he became the number 1 suspect.
Ironical that he's so worried about his discharge going public, when discharging in public was what got him here in the first place.

Him changing his plates isn't minor. In Mass., having a "green" plate is a badge of honor for many people. Giving up the green plate and getting "red" plates is a significant thing and something most people would prefer not to do.

It is not possible to replace a red plate with a green plate. Once a vehicle has a red plate, it cannot ever get a green plate.

How close was she to his vehicle that she was able to tell that that’s what he was doing? I’ll admit that it’s disgusting, but what’s the charge? If he’s in his personal property, I don’t see how it’s illegal. You can stand in front of your living room window and do it, with the blinds open, legally. I’m shocked that they are actually investigating this complaint. Now if someone was spotted doing this near a school where there are minor children present, I’d understand investigating. Dumb move, but someone trying to be private in their own vehicle at night in an empty parking lot is not at all like an incident where someone it doing it, trying to make someone see them to violate them. To see what he was doing at night, parked alone in a parking lot, she had to put effort into trying to see what this stranger was up to. It is not the same as other indecent exposure sex charges which we usually prosecute. I've prosecuted cases in the same state where the perpetrator is trying to make a victim see them because they get off on the frightened reaction. That was not the situation in this case.

How does an officer NOT ON DUTY qualify for ANY IMMUNITY? He definitely was not within the scope whether on or off duty and sure wasn't acting in good faith.
They get put on paid leave ( vacation) and then get immunity. How ridiculous is our system?

For some context. In MA he had "green plates". Green plates ended in 1993. They are rare now. People who keep green plates went out of the way to do it. Reason being is green plates are grandfathered in for single plate use. The red plates you need a front and rear or you get ticketed. When green plates are faded (they all are now due to age) you can't get an inspection sticker. So people bring them to "artist" to restore them to keep them. No one holds onto green plates from at least 1993 and goes to the RMV to swap them to red plates

I stupidly abandoned my last "greenie" in 2003, the plates went back to 1984😮. I wasn't collected Cara at that tune, and NEVER thought of repainting the "greenie" 😢

I remember a case like this at work. Dude was called in for an interview with the detectives. He claimed he didn't do nothing while the female claimed he did flash her. This happened outside of work. Cops claimed it was he said she said. It's pretty awkward at work now because we all know.

Dude did go to detectives though. They questioned him for like an hour. The woman missed work for like 2 weeks. Her husband even drops her off work now.

That's definitely what he did which is why she suddenly backed down and refused to testify in court. Pretty sure he prob found her information and harrassed and threatened her or got someone to do it. It may come out some years from now, if or when the victim decides she feels safe enough to talk about it. Super fucked up.
Remember, SCOTUS says it is legal for them to lie. Given that, you should conclude that all officers are liars, and it is legal for them to do it.
