I believe Nomad was the first Operator to be nerfed way before she released, her air jab had the ability to instantly activate on impact with a defender behind cover, they had to remove that on TTS before release

Zero is pretty solid. He is a great flank watch but also real useful in utility destruction with both the lasers of his gadget as well as his gon 6. Tbh, I think you could have given him a higher score due to that aspect.

So I was always operating as a separate unit from a team due to a lack of a microphone if I’m not on a call with the people I now play with. I started playing Zero because even without communication you can play him and still do well. I don’t play ranked so I have no idea what that’s like really, but he feels like a good option for anyone. He has cams, lasers to destroy certain gadgets, hard breaches, two good primaries, and the gonne-6 for stuff like castle barricades,deployables or other things that the lasers can’t break.
You are VERRRRRYYY biased in this one, like how a breaching charge is "only ok for vertical play" on nomad but is "great for vertical play AND opening soft walls"
Love the video! I definitely agree that nomad is the weakest of the three. However, I think there are certain maps where Zero beats out Grid. For instance, Bank is by far Zero's best map because of how massive and open it is, allowing Zero to essentially set up default cams for his team in lobby and elevator halls at the beginning of every round. This amount of Intel is simply unmatched, and I think Zero's versatility as being a passive flank watch and an aggressive intel fragger make him a stronger choice than Grid.
I think the can opener is kinda slept on for zero. He’s a hard counter to mute since he can drill main walls (chalet garage or border armory) and take out a mute then instantly be on the offensive with the can opener. I run with a dedicated Kali Main as well, so marking defenders in site after popping in his cam is fantastic synergy. Plus a claymore on Kali doubles up with the cam to see if the defender is rushing the flank, and dead teammates can can gain usefulness while hiding the cam in clever spots. Plus gonne-6 baby. I’d up that secondary score to match Grid

Both gridlock and zero are so underrated, good gadgets, good weapons, gridlock traps whole plant and smokes to plant and just get a free round, and zero gives ALOT of info, but its easy to see his cameras, nomad isnt bad but airjabs are too predictable/loud

If played right I still think Lion is the best flank watch operator but that’s only if his drone set ups isn’t destroyed first. Ten times better if it’s a Lion + Zero combo.
I feel like Zero's secondary gadget rating should be higher looking at his main gadget. Zero is the only op who can both hard breach and decently break wall denial at the same time

Admittedly I don’t use Zero as flank watch. I fire his cameras in sight to get intel for my team. So I guess I sort of do but once you learn where to fire your cameras, the defenders don’t notice even when they are loud.

Zero can literally give free kills. On chalet bedroom bombsite I often shoot his cam onto a reinforced wall on site, and on the other side of the wall, there's often someone hiding. I ping, use the hard breach charge zero has, and before he can react to me peeking, I prefire him and it's pretty much a free kill
Nomads versatility said 10/10 but he said 7/10 and I got so confused. But is a small mistake and doesn’t take a way from the quality of the video. I love all you videos my man!!
Gotta disagree. Nomad best because she can completely deny acess to a room. Something that Grid and Zero fails at. For that simple reason she should be number 1.

I really want to say the best flank watch is nomad, but gridlock does it all. Good guns, great after a plant goes down, delays someone rotating, but it’s not NEARLY as loud as nomad. If you’re far enough away and someone melees the trax you’ll never know
If you have a team then zero if not I’d say nomad. Gridlock is good I really like her but I use her more to pressure enemies over strictly watching the flank
Zero is incredible in solo queue. If your teammates aren't calling out, then you switch to playing aggressively with arguably the best gun in the game and 4 extra cams to gain intel. Plus, he has nearly the same breaching capability as hibana along with a gonne-6. There isn't any reason not to run zero solo
Gridlock and zero are not flank watch lol that's just a niche thing they can do when they don't have a nomad to watch it, gridlock is best used as a chaos operator used to create chaos and panic on site as well as deny area in order to get the plant down, zero is used for gathering Intel, fragging, and gadget destruction with the ability to also watch flank with a cam if needed but that requires a good teammate to be dead watching it or have to occasionally check it on ur own which can leave u vulnerable, nomad specializes in flank watch with the niche ability to push a defend out of a position if needed, it's unfair to compare them on who is best flank watch bc gridlock and zero aren't primarily used for flank watch
Ima have to say nomad is my fauvorite by a mile sure gridlock does her job better but i dont like the fact her hitbox is bigger than every ither operator in the game and being a 3 speed on attack is a huge disadvantage since you have to move s lot compared to defenders who barely have to move during the enrire round and another bad thing about gridlock is that whole masking the plant that mlst of the tume dosent work cause the planting sound is louder than the trax stingers meaninf you can hear the plant oretty easily and combined with the smoke its oretty obvious if shes plantung meaning a nice c4 or smokes canistee will kill her oretty easily lr force her to turn back and zero is ny second fauvorite he is great the cams are usually pretty hard to see and eith the rectn buff of them not instantly being on bith sides is a huge buff to zero ptherwise both of zeros guns qrw great and he has the gonne 6 while being a 1-3 but i do think this guy is wrong about 1 thing sibce this guy said the gonne 6 is the best secondary in the game but i would say the smg 11 takes that spot sure he might be talking about attackers inly but he said in the entire game so i would imagine he meant literally the entire game wich is just not trye since the smg 11 is the best gun in the entire game i mean high fire rate good damage pretty low recoil sure the mag is tuny but it actually deals damage compared to some other guns that have high fire rate but low damage i mean the smg 11 easily has the highest dps in the game

I feel like the Gonne-6 is way too prevalent being available on way too many attackers. Maybe a few ops need the gone-6 removed from their loadout
