  • In this video, I finish up the last of the work on my Craftsman 917 snowblower setup.
-Changed out the 30 weight oil for 10w40
    -Installed rear tire chairs
-Utilized a 90lb concrete block for my rear weight
-Installed and wired in two led lights installed on the blower attachment
-and modified the blower lift brackets to gain more ground clearance with the unit in the up position.
Stay tuned for a "Finale" video where I get this thing out and show you guys how it works.

I have been enjoying the mods to the old 917 project. I am guessing you didn’t get much snow ☹️ as I wasn’t able to see it in action. Hope the belt you ordered did the trick 👍

The belt did end up doing the trick. And yea we didn't get much snow, I only had to use the blow three times this year and each time it was only an inch or two and was hoping to get more that would be more worthwhile to film.
Hopefully this winter I can use it more and get a video of it in action.

@@TwoFourSevenDIY Like most things you were prepared and that’s why you didn’t see much snow 🤪

What were the items that you used to anchor the zip ties on top of the blower shell?
