      Thank you so much for your interest in my plans! I completely understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, I lost all my hard work when my backup disk crashed, which was incredibly frustrating. However, I'm currently working hard behind the scenes to recreate all of my plans. It's a huge task, but I'm making progress and will have them ready for you in a couple of weeks. So keep following my channel and website. Thank you for your patience and support!

    I would love to see your take on an right angle jig. Something for bringing two boards together say to be pocket screwed - that keeps them tight and perfectly aligned.

    Not for the shout out but I had a thought for your dowling jig on the table saw. I envision two wide dust inlets. One one each side of the sled and hooked up with flex hose somehow to a vacuum or dust collection. Spin away and stay cleaner. Sorry, just the way my brain works. I see something and say "oh, it would be cool if...." As usual, great video and thanks for sharing 👍

    • @christofix
      @christofix  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I guess we have the same brains, LOL. While I was making the dowel I noticed al the sawdust and thought about a solution. Something similar like you wrote down came up in my mind. Thank you for sharing that idea and thank you for watching, my friend.

    Hi,
    Another great video, nice camera angles, fantastic music.
    You nailed it again.
    Your woodturning with the saw blade, gives the same result as with a lathe, but it goes faster.
    The dowels, the bench dogs and the adjustable clamps were right on the money.
    Weeral een nuttig & super de luxe filmke.

    Nicely and creatively shot but I wonder why you chose to use such repetitive music? Technical subjects work so much better with natural sound. Never be afraid of silence if you don't have access to creative music. Really clever tool idea though.

      maybe you can help me. I made the cams (in the Bernoulli/Fibonacci spiral way), and then also using Nick Englers method of making cams. I made the rectangles too with offset dowel. My dowels are 1/2". I can tighten things between them, but it invariably comes loose. I tried the squares with multiple angle (shallow/steep) wedges and found that I could still move the piece I wanted to be fixed still, quite easily even after wacking the wedges in with a hammer. My bench dog holes are not through holes, but are about 1.5" deep. Why is my stuff moving? Thanks

  • @timberdreams6874

    Very interesting dowelling jig, i like it!
    I've been thinking of incorporating bar clamps into my dog holes and having some sort of clamping table setup. Then I can keep my boards even while maintaining good pressure from the top as well as the sides in the glue-up process. This will surely help me with some ideas, cheers.
