That comment about the yellow wire REALLY explains a lot. I've been curious about that one. I have a machine I believe from the 50's or 60's that my parents bought in Japan where I was born. We have been carrying that thing around for years. I recently acquired a newer (probably 70's model) model just recently and it's a bit different than my original, some good ways and some not as good. I am definitely going to be watching more videos to get a better insight to these great machines. My in-laws think I'm nuts.
I have one from maybe the 70's or 80's. It has no power cord however. I do see red blue green power posts. Can I just get an AC cord for this? Or is there some power conversion needed?
These machines were powered by 10 VDC in the parlors in Japan. They do not run on AC! I sell a 12VDC power kit that includes a wall transformer, 12 V bulbs and a new fuse. If you are interested, shoot me a text @ 585-760-9104

That wire always confused me also until I learned what it was. I would think your in-laws would think it’s pretty cool that you are into Pachinko!
Thanks for the video!
You bet!

You need DC and 10V for stock bulbs etc. if you plug it directly into an outlet you might have a fire on your hands
