I can't believe how a single dev killed it this hard on the visuals, audio, and especially the concept. That ending to the 1st episode might be one of the most incredible sequences in a horror game I've ever seen. But does your gas have car? This is very important to adulting from what I hear.
This was SUCH an incredible game for one person to have done, what an accomplishment!! Good sound design, awesome effects and environment, and a sequel already in the works! This was a wonderful treat to see you play Layna, thanks for bringin this to us all!
@@adamdubigames I was also really impressed. It feels organic and dreamlike in a way that's hard to put into words. I'm trying to think of something to liken it to, and the main thing that comes to mind at the moment is "New Weird" literature.
The night before you played, I was looking at this game, at first I was kinda on the edge... so when you started loading it up I was so pumped! Now I look forward to supporting the hell out of this game. I love your moments of excitement and awe so much, I appreciate you!
I love these sort of survival horror/post apocalypse games (Metro and STALKER being two of my favorites). I wouldn't be surprised if the dev was inspired by Roadside Picnic as elements of the game remind me of the story: aliens show up on earth to essentially dump a bunch of trash. A "zone" is established and scavengers go in to collect these objects to sell on the black market.
I was surprised that after reading that you will were playing a person that was mentally ill, layna didn't say she was going to be playing a vtuber simulator
Unreal Engine 5 is going to make graphics like these the norm, even among solo indie devs. It is too bad Unity shot itself in the foot and sabotaged their spot as the biggest major competitor, because the drive to stay ahead of the market is what will compel Epic to eventually get us Unreal Engine 6 even faster, but for now at least gaming is going to look pretty good in the near future. Just got to worry about 5 or 6 years down the road when we want something even better.
Realistic graphics have their limit, at one point there will not be any improvement. Unless the game renders everything down to quarks, it is always downsized to certain level to save space.
Fuck me. The games from my country are rare but somehow they are always good, at least from what I've played. Can't wait to see this progress into Ep 2. Good job both of you, I liked the game and loved your presentation.

"your gas always has car" layna lazar-2023
Well, I mean, she's not *entirely* wrong. If your car breaks down, and you can't afford to fix it, what are you gonna put all your gas into? 😜
That's one way of saying she's carbon dated

9:50 "Welcome to the stream, this is what you just spent your money on!" made me laugh way too hard.

Thank you so much! It means a lot

The details on that game put some AAA titles to shame. What a piece of art!
The way the game looks almost reminds me a lot of SOMA
the entire game is sick but that fucking inventory system? that is actually insane lmao

Huh.. Makes sense...
That’s what she said

Your voice is so soothing. The commentary and reactions are cute.
A new 30 minute Layna video?! I knew today was going to be a good day! Love you, darling! ❤️🖤
Just Layna showing up at some old dude's place like Hozier; "TAKE ME TO CHURCH!"
all of this was done by ONE person? this is freaking amazing! they got the horror feel and mechanics spot on :D
The atmosphere of this reminds me a lot of the "normal" world in the early Silent Hill games.
Ye that's a well made game, and Thank you Layna for giving me a smile with your vibes even when I'm feeling terrible 👍🖖🙏👁️👻💉🩸
No, Layna! Car gad bas for helf!
Looks and sounds incredible. Some jaw dropping moments in there. Hope to see more of it!
this game captures the otherworldly horror very well
very well done for just one person
nice work dev

It's like P.T. but with aliens in some kind of chernobyl setting.
Interesting concept. I am curious to see it to conclusion.

Man I dunno about some of them monster shots , gonna make me act up for that Chordussy
this game reminds me allot of amnesia. so i'm curious if you've played that one?
Looks like a good game.
I thought you were part of the coolest horror game
fanciest vtuber plays fancies game
