The Picos is truly a fantastic place to ride. Early vids by yourself and Bruce inspired my wife and I to do our own trips out there. Recognised many of the roads in this vid. If you get the time when you ride to Cain I highly recommend walking the gorge at the end of the village. Its amazing.
You must know the place like the back of your hand now,I am starting to recognise the scenery now from watching all your videos.looking forward to seeing more videos.👍Manxman 🇮🇲
Again Richy. Man awesome episode of the picos venture. I’d love to be on the next one. But. The heat man. I can’t do that heat. 😂 Can’t even do it here… And that poor animal… 😞. I couldn’t keep quiet 😂 Looking forwards to next video. 👍
Oh man. I'm so glad you made it on to the CA-631/BU570 at the beginning of this video. We discovered it by accident in 2019 and were simply floored. What a great ride.
Really enjoyed that Rich,great riding,top weather,ace scenery,cracking company,what more d'you need,btw has Martin treated himself ;-) ;-) Ride Safe Mr B \m/
Amazing. Forgive the stupid question but would a sports touring bike work as well as as an adventure bike in the PICOs? I ask because I have just changed my GS to a FJR. ATVB
Richy if Suzuki will allow you get the seats off to CM Seats and get some medical gel pads fitted I had the same problem certainly helped on this years big tour
@@RichyVida Thank you Richy! We're hoping to get out in October 2025 and I've been itching to get back there since our first trip back in 2023. I've fallen in love with the place.
You're from Derbyshire, Richy, I don't think the scenery is any better than where you live! Weather's probably warmer, granted, but I always prefer to be cold than hot.
Discovered the Picos in TeapotOne and your videos, same with Hotel Infantado. Funny fact : we went there last summer with my wife and my son, and guess who I met there ? Yep, Bruce ! Guess
Just fantastic when ever i go back to UK i get asked when i moving back ha ha after sitting In traffic for 4 hours done only 100 miles why would i move back when i have theae roads in my back yard great vid 👍
Rich. Cracker as allus pal. Stunning videography / photography. Mate - you need a Klim Marrakesh (Strongest, toughest mesh jacket there is), and an Alpinestars evaporative cooling vest betwixt your base layer and the Klim - ditch that piggin' shirt mate. Pour a litre of cold water into the Alpinestars vest, soak a nylon scarf and wrap it round yer neck - happy days pal. Trust me. I'm a Doctor......... of steel making........ and making steel in the Middle East means - I've learned how to keep cool pal - trust me 😉

It’s a shame between the 16 of you, nobody had the humanity to challenge the way that donkey was being dragged and then to use it as a thumbnail for visual impact is despicable. The donkey possibly had something stuck in its hoof or a more serious injury to its foot or leg causing it to act as it did. It must have been in agony. It’s a known fact, the Spanish treat some of their working animals, both equine and hunting dogs very cruelly.
@@RichyVida No, 701 is bang on the money. Should have had a word with the dude, ain’t no place for abusing animals in this world, it would have only taken you a couple of minutes. Agree with 701 also, using a picture of an animal being abused and suffering suggests you don’t think anything’s wrong with the situation. So much for us Brits being animal lovers eh?
A man going about his “daily” business is nothing to do with anyone else. He wasn’t abusing it, just merely taking it to wherever he was going. The donkey didn’t like it, which I didn’t like. I guess he was just being a stubborn ass, eh? Did you hear any crying or anything of distress? No, me neither. And regarding the thumb; it was to show the viewer what was in the video. As always. @@RichyVida Of course he was abusing the donkey, it was being dragged for Gods sake. Even the horse in front of the donkey was suffering, the owner was using its tail as a tethering point. You have a strange outlook on what’s right and wrong if you can’t see beyond what your eyes are capturing.

So exciting when you roll off that ferry wherever you’re off to in Spain. Great video Richy👍
Agreed! 🙌
Fantastic video as per usual Mr V

Just got back from Pico's. It was stunning and found some spectacular roads and even a few tracks to put my Strom in Gravel mode.
Looks fantastic again. Just wish I could afford to come with you.

Absolutely 👍
Anything with 2 wheels is a blast in the Pico's, once it has an engine.
Yes, of course. It just limits the ability to go off-piste, as you’ll see later.. 👍
I just used that Marc Torch cut for a montage too!! Is it perfect music progression and resolution or what??!!!
Which bit? 🤷♂️

Vega de Pas
Do you wish you’d taken a mesh jacket instead of the riding shirt?
I think so, yes. The shirt defo didn’t let enough - or as much as I’d hoped through!
