I was skeptical of the thing cause I have seen guys at the track try to use the Hudy one and it not come out right, but this seems one to work for some reason even though they are basically designed the same. Getting the feet of the gauge to slide as freely as possible on the board was the key to getting repeatable measurements for me.
@@somebodyelse5 I have an Arrowmax one and I have found that the camber setting is never right when I do it with the setup station. I just use the setup station for the front toe adjustment. I set all the camber’s with the tires on and a traditional camber gauge then put the setup station on and do the front toe. When I first put the setup station on I record what the camber reading is on both front tires and this is where I keep it while I adjust the toe. It gets everything pretty close. I usually throw the tires back on after and re-check the front camber. Sometimes it will be good and sometimes it will be off. When it’s off I just do everything all over again and everything is usually pretty good after a second time. It can be a lot of work which sucks but you really can’t beat a good front end alignment. I am curious to try this pencil trick. Another thing I thought you could try is cut some squares of wax paper to put under all the individual setup station stands, something to try 🤷♂️
Your buggy has a wicked paint job 👍 and the setup station looks fun
I wanna get a setup station at some point. Need to make space tho. Will definitely need one if I plan to speed run my Limitless! Good video!
You need these for drag cars.
Are yall balancing your tires too?
3:58 if you swapped sides to the gauge part was facing backwards would you have had to remove the wing to put the toe gauge one?
Yes, the tips of the wing hit the gauge
Whoukd this work on Onroad cars aswell?
@mikeymike8054 yes they make an onroad specific version
@@chriskline980 will the off-road version with with my Onroad car ?
@mikeymike8054 possibly. the width of the toe gauge might be an issue.
Man i got the hudy version and i cant get it to work…. Set with hudy, then spot check with the normal gauge…. Totally off. I have tried everything!

@@chriskline980 I'll give that another try... really bummed because it's a fun little tinker tool.
