It is a nice video and a nice spot. But, that whole thing with the strings being attached to the kite all the time and esp. when you check them before taking off is against the safety rules. And, you might want to have your strings last longer than that simply by making sure you are not knotting them too much. Take care!

Not sure I agree with you, it's pretty safe and you do check your lines before starting kite. If you keep your lines attached its also impossible have knots in them ;) But I am not claiming its a best method how to make your lines. It's a trick that some people might find useful in certain situation, if you find it not safe don't try it.

well for starting it does not take much extra time, you undo the knots, then ask somebody to hold the kite (u have it in hands so they dont havee to flip it, BONUS) and u quickly undo the lines and start... for landing no need, they can just put it on the ground, but if you have super good friends they can wait :)

99% of your audience are grown up men, so no need to show up like a super fancy surfer boy.

@@KobulskyMedia yeah please change into something different so Cook Gerard doesn't have to get out of his full body wetsuit, impact vest, helmet with GoPro mounted on top, gloves, boots like they wore them in 2004... :-D)

    Worst technique I've ever seen.
It's a little bit better than throwing it in the trunk of your car..
