Ok guise: this is one of our favourite meals ever. We went to Kobe Japan to try Kobe beef, which you've probably never had, because it's not exported. And, really, it's the best meat we've ever had. THE BEST! You ready to drool?
I think there's a legend that says Kobe Bryant's parents visited Kobe, Japan and fell in love with the meat so much that they named their son after him. I'm sure the legend goes that Bryant's mother was pregnant with him at the time while she ate Kobe beef and that is what made him into a legendary basketball player... But I could be lying. But that makes total sense, right?
Wow, I checked you're totally right! Kobe Bryant was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title too and I was wondering if he was somehow connected to it! How satisfying :)
I worked at a small Japanese restaurant in Northern California for a few years and every Sunday after closing, (Sunday was our Friday), the owner would give us about $300 worth of ingredients for a special dinner and allowed us to cook it however we wanted. One night, after we had an extremely successful week he got us Kobe beef. Words simply cannot describe how delicious it was.
***** Beef, haha. I had it all made then I sat down at my computer and saw they uploaded a new video so I clicked on it without a second thought and was like "D:"
I also grew up in Etobicoke :) now I live in Nova Scotia though and would love to travel! I want to go everywhere you have been! The food looks great and I would love the cultural experience :)
Eat Your Kimchi My mind is literally blown first I found out your Croatian (Im half Croatian) then I find out you grew up in Etobicoke which is where I live and now I find out half your family is from Bedford Nova Scotia and Im half nova Scotain and that's the part of Nova Scotia there from and to top it all off my aunt and my dad live in Pickering I just can't!!
Aw! I'm trying to answer as many comments as I can, but some comments I can't respond to. I think you need to follow us on Google Plus so that we can respond to your comments. Otherwise, it won't let us :(
Sorry-not-sorry, but Im laughing my butt off. Polish subtitles - 04:55 - * sexy music, so audience can drool even more on sight of this stake. * Its just beautiful. XDDDDD
simon's reactions to delicious food always look like he's having some kind of spiritual awakening and this is the first video where it was shown literally. i love it!
I went on a student exchange program to Japan back in 2009 and lived in Kobe for 3 months.. I'm lucky to say I actually had Kobe beef and Simon and Martina are definitely not exaggerating when they say it is the best beef they've ever had.. It's really expensive as well but really worth the experience.
This probably beats ANY food promotional video I've ever watched in my entire life. I WANT TO TRY KOBE BEEF...N.O.W!!! And you can tell just how soft the beef is when you see how easily and cleanly the knife slices through the glorious steak oh god.
Also, I'm very glad you mentioned the fact that actual kobe beef is actually only eaten in Kobe and not in other countries. Thank you for that. More people should know that.
I'm Japanese. Music while you're eating Kobe beef is good! That makes me smile and hungry! Kobe beef is a kind of winner's beef. When I become a rich man, I want to try it.
Bette P Click on the little gray gear button in the bottom-right corner for some setting options to pop up, click the white-gray-ish bar next to the "Subtitles/CC" title (fourth one; second to last on the list) and at the bottom there'll be an option to "Add subtitles/CC..." after the whole list of language sub's that they already offer on this video (ex: English, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish, etc.) Try to see if that'll help! Hope it does! Good luck!
Sweet baby Jesus, I absolutely hate having to watch the two of you eat food that I can't, I am SO jealous... and that Kobe beef looks delicious, it's the first thing I'm going to eat when I go to Japan. Is it reasonably priced?
First of all, OMG YOU RESPONDED TO MY COMMENT!! And secondly, well, I'll have to save up a bit of money because I know if I tried it once, I'll want to eat it at lease three times lol xP
I used to live in Kobe before moving to Tokyo, and of course I tried Kobe beef:):) It was AMAZING. I can never eat "regular" beef again, it just doesn't taste as heavenly as Kobe beef did...
What I've got from this, Kobe beef is so miraculous that your body starts malfunctioning. You cry,you shake, and you hear heavenly music as you chew it. It's officially a goal of mine to try it now. Thank You EYK
+Eat Your Kimchi You are very pretty, I love a girl who looks just like you and has a great personality like you have as well, but she doesn't like me back unfortunately. Also my name is Simon too!
Kobe beef is Wagyu (Japanese Beef), more specifically it's beef from Kobe. US has an American Kobe Beef, which is a cross breed of wagyu and angus. Major difference is also the treatment of the cattle (movement and diet). Australia also had cattle imported from Japan to start their own kobe style beef program. Dietary differences make a huge difference in the fat content of the beef. Marbling is more intense in Wagyu and the make up of the fat is completely different. Body temperature is enough to melt the fat on the surface of any of the Japanese Wagyu. Its hard to pinpoint which region produces the best Wagyu since like wine, weather and other factors do change the end results. Japan holds a wagyu olympics that allows farmers from all regions that raise wagyu to bring in cattle to get graded and win the title. From what I understand grading for cattle is based on how much of a certain part a cattle produces from a meat segment to overall body ratio as well as fat content/marbling.
I can be your guide! All you would have to do is get on a plane :D We would go to an amazing restaurant called Din Tai Fung which is known for it's amazing Xiao Long Bao :3
Yeah! Din Tai Fung is all over :D If you're ever close to a location in the US you should totally stop by and try some! They're pretty standard across countries, some differences, but they're expertly made dumplings and by far one of the best things you'll eat! :D
So this is from a restaurant called Kobegyu Steak land. it's their lunch special which costs 24.99 usd. You get i think around 10 pieces of sliced kobe, salad, miso soup, rice and orange juice/coffee. I thought Kobe beef was the best until I actually tried some other places in japan and discovered that there's also Ohmi and Matsusaka beef which absolutely trump kobe beef. So if you're ever in Japan try looking for those too! Btw kobe, ohmi, and matsusaka are known as Sandai Wagyu (3 kings of beef) in Japan! XD
I ate Kobe beef in Japan last week and it is without a doubt the BEST thing I have tasted in my life! They really are not exaggerating guys. However it is VERY expensive be prepared to pay over 8,000 yen ($72) for a good cut.
ANY time you can eat something that brings a tear to your eye I say is worth the umpteen thousand mile trip. Thank you for this. I was trying to explain the "Kobe Beef" to my friend and this video spoke perfectly for me.
I live in Houston Texas, and I have had Kobe beef, it is amazing and will melt in your mouth. but it is crazy expensive, like a 4 oz steak is about 15 dollars, and for Texas, where we have ranches and such every where that's crazy. but it's worth it, Martina was crying, that's a normal and understandable response.
I lived in Japan as a kid. I stayed in Okinawa and I had Kobe beef there. It's all over Japan. Martina and Simon y'all are truly lucky I miss it everyday 😭
Ok, this reminds me of the hibachi I ate at with a friend, now that I think about it. That was one of the best meals I had ever eaten in this area where I go shopping.
Simon and Martina, thank you for linking the kobe beef video to your korean beef video. And thank you for the repeated clip of kobe cooking on the grill at the end of the video. I could just taste it, even though I've never had it before. I live vicariously through your videos. :)
Hello Lady and Gent, Thank you for video. I traveled to Japan just this past week and this past Sunday traveled to Kobe to visit a dear friend. I told her after watching your video weeks ago that I wanted to try it. I left her to decide the place and to my surprise the restaurant looked familiar. So I whipped out my phone and brought up the video and low and behold I was sitting in the exact spot in the exact restaurant as you guys in the video. I honestly was dying laughing at the coincidence. Love you people. Love your work. Thanks for posting this video because it was the spark that ended a great day!
Japanese Food Vacation Bucket list: 1. Tonkatsu Ramen all day every day 2. Kobe Beef, minimum three visits. 3. Jiro Sushi and the spot EYK visited, once. 4. Unrelated: See how many times I have to yell "Oohhhhh you so nasty" til a girl in cosplay will go on a date with me.
That ramen, man. I barely ate it for the last trip, but I still loved it deeply. Also, you forgot CocoCurry for your bucket list. Must eat three times, a day every day.
You dont understand how jelly jelly i am that you guys live next to japan. i seriously hunt all over SoCal for the best ramen, none seems to match the flavor profile since when the ramen masters from japan briefly visited for a festival. BTW no doubt i will visit cocoCurry, i'm gonna use Martina's trick and take some back in my luggage. Better yet, take a quick cooking class over there before i leave. "You can feed a man a good bowl of curry, but teach him to make good curry and he will never go hungry again"- I think its from a religious text or something. I'm pretty sure it is. Well anyways, EYK and everyone else have a good rest of your day. Back to studying...@#$%!
Hi Simon and Martina! I'm actually visiting Japan in 2017 and I wanted to know the name of this restaurant that you went to for the kobe beef! Thank you!
+Danni Alvarado This place is called Steak Land (ステク ランド) and it's in Sannomiya, Kobe. Right next to the Sannomiya Hankyu Line station. I walk past it every day and their beef is just as good as Simon and Martina make it look :)
This gotta be one of the juicest and most delicious video on youtube. Great job you both, thanks for let us enjoy your great adventures, greetings from Indonesia.
Eat Your Kimchi omg you're here!!! okay lemme take this opportunity to request for a video on martina's skincare products but have simon demonstrate it hahahah!!
one magazine in my country just released an internet article about Kobe beef (now i can eat it in my hometown!). I read the article and immediately came here to watch this for the third time :D I also put link to this vid to the magazines commentary so everyone can enjoy your awesome vid :P
***** ChanChan kun sama Chan we needs to go to Japan fly into Osaka Take a bus to Kobe and get some real original Kobe beef. I needs this beef. And I need it now
+Cat Hilles Yeah, plus in Eat Your Sushi # 7 they just admitted his name is either Dave, Dan, or Nathan... The guy in this video is Zack, so I guess it's someone else.
My dad is a high class chef and I've only had it once because of him it's soooooooooooooooo good. It's not even like meat it's like a mushroom in my opinion. It's so juicy and so perfect.. Ugh
My boyfriend and I are talking about going Japan for a honeymoon. Do you remember the name of this restaurant? We'd love to check it out, any other super amazing places in japan we should go to, that you would absolutely recommend?
Oh god it looks so mouthwatering!! I'm actually in Japan on exchange at the moment and heading to Kobe soon! Could you possibly give me the name of that restaurant it looks so amazing!
I have a tragic story. Because my parents prayed to a certain deity for health and prosperity for me when I was a child, I couldn't eat beef until I prayed to the same deity again when I was in Japan, asking for permission to break the fast. Thus, the first piece of beef I ever ate was Kobe beef, but because I had no prior beef experience, I could not compare the taste to anything. So... That's just great
Born in Japan and living in Japan for 30 some years, still haven't get to eat Kobe beef, because it's very very expensive! Though I am planning to eat it on our 10th anniversary of our marriage, which is coming up in 7 years and few months. lol. just wanted to point out that it is special food for normal Japanese people as well, like the others living out side of Japan . Thanks for a good video, Simon and Martina.
Masanori Koyama I instantly think of some Kind of anime about a chef when I read that lmao. "NOW YOU WILL FEEL THE POWER OF MY KOBE BEEF!!!! MUHAHAHAH!!!!"
Omg!!! I just discovered you guys yesterday from a website about the top ramen to eat !!! I subscribed so fast!!! You guys are awesome and make me want to travel to do a food guide with you guys !!!! :)
Norma Ramos I know, it's just that I hate how every muslim has to state that he's fucking muslim on almost every comment section when he sees something that can have anything in common with his faith, sorry RELIGION (which is a disease). They stopped thinking long time ago, that's why there are no muslim noblists etc. their religion brainwashes them just to take over the world and makes them talk about that bullshit at every place possible just to spread the message. Don't poison other people lifes, we don't need your fucking islam everywhere. Why doesn't every christian or buddhist talk about their faith anywhere? It's only islam that's so loud! "Those who shout the most, have the least to say" ALLAKHU AKUBAR
I am dying laughing at this video 😂😂 Simons reaction and Martina almost in tears, I am tripping so hard. She was dead serious and said I'm not kidding I will not talk to you for a day 🤣 dying lmao
I love how you guys film your videos! It makes me feel like i am eating it myself through the computer. Keep up the fantastic work! Looking forward to more videos!
Kobe beef, or wagyu as it is otherwise known, is readily available in the UK. I ate it in January of this year in london. you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Also the fact that you are using an american source to talk about europe is laughable. If an american tells you something about europe there is a very high chance they are incorrect. for example, there are no areas of london or Birmingham that are under sharia law
I've had it before at a high end Japanese restaurant in Boston. It was absolutely delicious. Buttery, tender, melt in your mouth good. 100 bucks for 5 little slices, but it was worth it.
I never thought I'd see two other people cry over how good their food was. I've done that maybe once or twice. The first time was over a soup. SOUP! and I'm not a soup lover. A peace of me died when that restaurant closed and moved out of town.
Ok guise: this is one of our favourite meals ever. We went to Kobe Japan to try Kobe beef, which you've probably never had, because it's not exported. And, really, it's the best meat we've ever had. THE BEST! You ready to drool?
I'm sooo jealous!!! It looks DELICIOUS! :'(
I'm not a huge fan of beef, but I would DEFINITELY try this if I had a chance!
I just watched deliciousness being flipped over!!!!:0 (
I am salivating.
In EST it is currently morning, and after watching this I would love to have Kobe beef for breakfast.
Does anyone get that satisfaction when the chef cuts through the Kobe Beef while it is cooking
Makes me think of boris johnson.
I get anxiety thinking it’s ruined until he fixes it
I think there's a legend that says Kobe Bryant's parents visited Kobe, Japan and fell in love with the meat so much that they named their son after him.
I'm sure the legend goes that Bryant's mother was pregnant with him at the time while she ate Kobe beef and that is what made him into a legendary basketball player...
But I could be lying.
But that makes total sense, right?
FROM KOBE BRYANT'S WIKI PAGE: "His parents named him after the famous beef of Kobe, Japan, which they saw on a restaurant menu."
maryprom15e that is so freaking cool!
Wow, I checked you're totally right! Kobe Bryant was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title too and I was wondering if he was somehow connected to it! How satisfying :)
That's awesome! Named after the best beef in the world!
Yup that's it. That's the confirmation that this is a Godly beef. If Kobe's parents named him after it, then it must be legendary.
Everyone talking about the beef....
I want that amazing knife.
lmao!
me too for some reason
Its so sleek, fast, and elegant! It's art, bro, the way the chef uses it! So satisfying.
it's not the knife! The beef is so tender you can cut it with ease and even a spoon. It is expensive because it's so tender
Lol me too
I worked at a small Japanese restaurant in Northern California for a few years and every Sunday after closing, (Sunday was our Friday), the owner would give us about $300 worth of ingredients for a special dinner and allowed us to cook it however we wanted. WHERE DID YOU WORK
How? If they didn’t export it.
Sophie Jackson smuggling?
They're over there eating the best beef in the world and I'm just here eating a cup a noodle....
I'm sorry, but this made me laugh. Not at you, but the comment was funny :)
You're over there eating a cup noodle and I'm over here chewing a piece of gum TTOTT
*****
Beef, haha. I had it all made then I sat down at my computer and saw they uploaded a new video so I clicked on it without a second thought and was like "D:"
I literally just finished my cup of noodles haha 😂😩
lilly Zhang What flavor chewing gum?
I discovered you videos about 3-4 days ago and have been having just non stop "eat your kimchi" marathons haha. Love you two! :)
Welcome to the Nasty family! Hope to see you around in the comment section! ^^

It looks delicious, I need to get some high quality beef now, I know it won't be the same, but ¿luckily? I don't know what I'm missing.
How much did it cost?
Polish subs now up thanks again to Bartoo12! And Norwegian subs now up as well, thanks to Christine Haruka Munthe!
Sorry-not-sorry, but Im laughing my butt off. Polish subtitles - 04:55 - * sexy music, so audience can drool even more on sight of this stake. * Its just beautiful. XDDDDD
You were so pure and innocent before trying Akita beef 😔
Haha I know! This was still delicious...buuuuuuuuuuut....Akita beef...
simon's reactions to delicious food always look like he's having some kind of spiritual awakening and this is the first video where it was shown literally. i love it!
English subs now up, thanks to Bartoo12! Damn, that was fast :D
Top notch Knife, keeping it nice at sharp, i appreciate how smooth the cut into the Kobe Beef was.
This probably beats ANY food promotional video I've ever watched in my entire life. I WANT TO TRY KOBE BEEF...N.O.W!!!
And you can tell just how soft the beef is when you see how easily and cleanly the knife slices through the glorious steak oh god.
Simon and Martina, you've outdone youself... this is proper foodporn.
Also, I'm very glad you mentioned the fact that actual kobe beef is actually only eaten in Kobe and not in other countries. Thank you for that. More people should know that.
I am sitting here in my office, eating penne and meatballs... pretending that the meatballs are those pieces of Kobe beef...
Lol 😂
I'm Japanese. Music while you're eating Kobe beef is good! That makes me smile and hungry! Kobe beef is a kind of winner's beef. When I become a rich man, I want to try it.
Why do I find it so satisfying to watch you eat stuff? o.o
+Ida Jönsson The same reason why Mukbang is so popular now
And people judge you for it watching mukbang. Check out Yuka Kinoshita, she tickles my pickles.
it's called food porn for a reason ;-)
Spanish subtitles now available, thanks to Ariel Berzoni!
if i wanted to help with Italian subs how would i do that?
Bette P I love you picture but idk #dango
Bette P Click on the little gray gear button in the bottom-right corner for some setting options to pop up, click the white-gray-ish bar next to the "Subtitles/CC" title (fourth one; second to last on the list) and at the bottom there'll be an option to "Add subtitles/CC..." after the whole list of language sub's that they already offer on this video (ex: English, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish, etc.)

Sweet baby Jesus, I absolutely hate having to watch the two of you eat food that I can't, I am SO jealous... and that Kobe beef looks delicious, it's the first thing I'm going to eat when I go to Japan. Is it reasonably priced?
It wasn't as crazy expensive as our sushi experience, but it was something close to $40-$50 a person.
First of all, OMG YOU RESPONDED TO MY COMMENT!! And secondly, well, I'll have to save up a bit of money because I know if I tried it once, I'll want to eat it at lease three times lol xP
Eat Your Kimchi Would you guys pick eating Kobe beef 10 times or best sushi experience one more time?
Simon would say Bump all that...Ramen 25 more times.
I used to live in Kobe before moving to Tokyo, and of course I tried Kobe beef:):) It was AMAZING. I can never eat "regular" beef again, it just doesn't taste as heavenly as Kobe beef did...
Right??!! It was seriously different tasting like an entirely different category of food. There is beef and then there is Kobe beef.
Damn why did i watch this video. Here i am eating a bowl of crappy oatmeal while im watching you guys eat this slice of heaven.
No matter how many times I watch this, no matter if I've already eaten, just watching the beef getting prepared makes my mouth water.
What I've got from this, Kobe beef is so miraculous that your body starts malfunctioning. You cry,you shake, and you hear heavenly music as you chew it. It's officially a goal of mine to try it now. Thank You EYK
really want to taste it! looks amazing
It is amazing!
+Simon and Martina Is it better than Wagyu beef?
+The Drunken Bear Kobe beef is a type of Wagyu.
+Zakhanis Oh how silly of me. Thanks for the beefy knowledge :-)
The Drunken Bear I know this only because I need to eat it before I die. xD
Turkish subtitles are now up! Thank you very kindly to whoever took the time to make them! We really appreciate it :D
Eyk I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS I WIL SUPPORT YOU XDXDXD

Also, can you come to Hong Kong? We can eat dumplings together and have loads of fun
I would love to eat dumpling in Hong Kong with you. I just don't know how to get there!
I can be your guide! All you would have to do is get on a plane :D We would go to an amazing restaurant called Din Tai Fung which is known for it's amazing Xiao Long Bao :3
I think Din Tai Fung is in USA but there's only 6 restaurants in the USA. I think one of them in Hong Kong was awarded a Michelin Star.
Yeah! Din Tai Fung is all over :D If you're ever close to a location in the US you should totally stop by and try some! They're pretty standard across countries, some differences, but they're expertly made dumplings and by far one of the best things you'll eat! :D

ANY time you can eat something that brings a tear to your eye I say is worth the umpteen thousand mile trip. Thank you for this. I was trying to explain the "Kobe Beef" to my friend and this video spoke perfectly for me.

I live in Texas too in Houston. Where did you buy your beef from? Was it a restaurant or a grocery store?
HEB, but if you go make sure its a bigger one, im not sure if all of them have it.
Was it painful to edit and watch this video again?
omg look at the knife cutting through that meat like butter -_-
I'm just drooling here :'(
I lived in Japan as a kid. I stayed in Okinawa and I had Kobe beef there. It's all over Japan. Martina and Simon y'all are truly lucky I miss it everyday 😭
This was posted on my birthday! I want to try Kobe beef now, that looks so amazing. (The curse of being too poor)
Ok, this reminds me of the hibachi I ate at with a friend, now that I think about it. That was one of the best meals I had ever eaten in this area where I go shopping.
I'll see your Kobe beef and I raise you a... slice of cheese pizza. Oh :(
Wait...where do you live...that will determine if I want your cheese pizza or not.
Eat Your Kimchi I'm in New York City. I raise you cheese pizza, magnolia bakery, and Nathan's hot dogs!

Eat Your Kimchi from Iraq and ir will raise u dolma ( best I cant explain it in English u will ever have)
amar coldx YUM DOLMA!
Love how Simon always tears up when eating in Japan lol
Even Martina teared up this time... i don't think she did at the Sushi place last time =o
Alex Chen I think the tearing up is glittery eyeliner.
ArcadiaSilver
no~ a Dothraki Man needs no such thing!
ArcadiaSilver just realised you meant Martina lol
This was emotional. I want some!! 😭😂
This wasn't just emotional: it was a spiritual experience :D
Sweet baby Jesus I got a reply!!! 😍Muchas Gracias 💗

Back to studying...@#$%!
its worth it. trust. ill chance, the container breaking.
OCSleazy u,
Hi Simon and Martina!
+RianaJulia Thanks for the name of the restaurant. Next time I'm in Japan I will go there to try kobe beef.

How much does a meal Cost?
1080 yen i believe
How much does it cost in American USD?
+Adam Duong google currency translator is your friend. But for the future, 1 yen is roughly 1 cent. So if it was 1080 yen, it would be roughly $10.80
Ethan Phillips Yay thank you. I would so pay for that meal.
It cost like 100 dollars not 10 dollars loo
it's 4am, havent slept yet, and im rewatching these jpn beef videos and simon makes me want to go binge everything in the fridge

My boyfriend and I are talking about going Japan for a honeymoon. Do you remember the name of this restaurant? We'd love to check it out, any other super amazing places in japan we should go to, that you would absolutely recommend?
There's a kobe restaurant opening down the street to my house, I feel so blessed to be alive & finally try Kobe beef!!!
I've been vegan for 1 year and I want some.

Btw, luv u simon & martina :)
Now I know what I am having for lunch! Thanks. Lol
I was at dean&deluca and this video came up
You know that dude in the background felt awkward af
Mwahahahaahahahaha!!!! Take that!!! Feel the power of my people's cuisine!!!!!
Masanori Koyama I instantly think of some Kind of anime about a chef when I read that lmao. "NOW YOU WILL FEEL THE POWER OF MY KOBE BEEF!!!! MUHAHAHAH!!!!"
Well, please voice that anime chef with the voice actor who is acting the very anime character you are using for your avatar. :-b

This is so sexy to me as Muslim lmao
+Shymaa Farag shut up no one cares if you're muslim.
+Boba Fett Sheesh, who peed in your cheerios? 0_0
+Boba Fett he said that because the cow is sacred in their religion, dingus.
+Boba Fett Your ignorance makes me sad.
Kobe Beef you can buy in europe so when you speak next time try take more info
no,you can't.
i cant buy ,,,so no problem
+tinsanis tinsanis 100% fake kobe beef

tinsanis tinsanis prove it noob
I am dying laughing at this video 😂😂 Simons reaction and Martina almost in tears, I am tripping so hard. She was dead serious and said I'm not kidding I will not talk to you for a day 🤣 dying lmao
I love how you guys film your videos! It makes me feel like i am eating it myself through the computer.
Keep up the fantastic work! Looking forward to more videos!
Kobe beef, or wagyu as it is otherwise known, is readily available in the UK. I ate it in January of this year in london. you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Read the Forbes article on Kobe beef. You can find it on Google. There's a good chance what you ate was fake.
I can categorically guarantee you it wasn't. I don't think restaurants serving fake beef are awarded Michelin stars.
Also the fact that you are using an american source to talk about europe is laughable. If an american tells you something about europe there is a very high chance they are incorrect. for example, there are no areas of london or Birmingham that are under sharia law
+Harry Calder okay you need to relax..Simon and Martina aren't even American
+Harry Calder they're canadian, guess you're the one who has no idea what you're talking about.
I've had it before at a high end Japanese restaurant in Boston. It was absolutely delicious. Buttery, tender, melt in your mouth good. 100 bucks for 5 little slices, but it was worth it.
this is the true definition of a real pleasure! by only watching the video makes my mouth water like a waterfall. can't wait for my Japan trip soon!
I never thought I'd see two other people cry over how good their food was. I've done that maybe once or twice. The first time was over a soup. SOUP! and I'm not a soup lover. A peace of me died when that restaurant closed and moved out of town.
OMG this looks amazing! What restaurant did you go to? I'll be in Kobe this month and would love to try this place!
