Love the herb garden do you sun dry your mints it keeps the flavor in it doesn't take long to air dry in the 🌞 just place on a 🍪 sheet and keep watch so it won't 🔥 squeeze the mint stems put on top of mint leaves I have sun dryer my mint herbs for 3 years put mint in a glass container with a good seal .happy growing from Waldorf Maryland
Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching. I use a dehydrator to dry all the herbs but I may have to try the sun dry. I'm interested I'll look up some more info about it and give it a go. If you look at the video I did on drying sage you'll see that I use a mason jar vacuum sealer to get an air tight seal.
It is. I've done Oregano, Tarragon, Chamomile, and Flat Parsley. I've got sage english thyme and a bag chamomile in the fridge. I'll be doing mints, roses and lavender after that.
All of that is growing so well and you have a lot of varieties we're either growing, or wanting to grow. Some of our herbs that should have overwintered didn't make it this year, so I'll have to drop more seeds. Our Sage, Chives, Garlic Chives, Chamomile and French Tarragon did come back at least.
Thanks for watching. Alot of these I'm growing for the first time. Really wanted to step up my herb variety but I was actually surprised at how many there are while making this list.
