Stick with us, its a lot of fun and we try to help Sam work through some things on this very special episode of, We Might Be Drunk.
Check out Rick's award winning podcast - Take Your Shoes Off and see Rick on the road.

Norm Macdonald is the pigeon in Mike Tyson Mysteries. Comedians stealing!
I wish you guys would have told rick glassman shut up or keep up
Bro too fruity! U guys boxed!!?🤡 no shit Nigga we was knocking the fuccc outta any kid that thought they were hard! That’s what MySpace was for, we would film our boxing matches and post em on TH-cam the first year it came out and the ops didn’t like that we was pulling they girls from different high schools cause they was going to our shows then comin over after school to the band practice 😂 so MySpace was either for pullin beezys off the swag or promoting the show we bout to play this weekend where it’s basically an underground fight club but at Christian churches that would let us beat the shit out of each other to hardcore beat down hardstyle death metal! Which the sound was created in NY! But back to the boxing. That’s literally the year ufc came out too so along with skateboarding, the end of and 1 basketball culture, and beginning of hardcore/ post hardcore death metal pop punk. So it’s only natural to learn how to properly beat the shit outta niggas boxing either in the front yard or back! Back when when bape and supreme first came out in 05 we was the first niggas wearing vans and skinny’s! We brought that shit back and made the staple uniform u see today for every npc bot! We was really puttin that shit on young niggas dripped when u see me!!! and playing real live instruments making ppl loose their mind to pure talent! Not some wack artist lip syncing to some backtrack I’m talking teenagers playing progressive funk death groove metal! The hardest genre invented that evolved from pantera into the MySpace generation where every week there would be a new band pop up at my school or the next high school and it didn’t matter if it was at a coffee shop or a vfw hall! Niggas was getting thrown thru the wall!!!!!! It’s crazy growing up 13 -15 and this is the norm! U walk down the street in this Sacramento suburbs and u could hear a new band practicing in their garage, knock on that shit and get to peep a free show of the next upcoming band who ended up touring the world to Japan and back! My homies at school ended up starting bands like a skylit drive and dance Gavin dance Molotov solution Emmure u name it! We was going from state to state making niggas beat the shit out of each other hardcore slam dancing to our music! Straight spin kicks to the dome!!!!!! Because Rise records was ran outta Sacramento, and every huge underground band was signed to them, that made us the hub every band had to come stop thru and play at the boardwalk. This was an old school venue that could barely hold 100 ppl but the biggest metal acts would come thru and the biggest rap groups would come thru the other nights. That’s how lil b from the pacc was born and took that shit to La where they chewed up and spit out the culture we created in an ugly dj mustard your a jerk way🤡🤡🤡Then this whole pc world took over wit kooks and fairy’s and everything fun and what made America America just fucking died when MySpace died! It’s crazy how niggas just took the style but as far as the mindset, this world just wanted to be soft and frail like Sam here! Just know absolutely nothing bout culture, we call it pipe boy! Go watch Evel Knievel and see what it was really like when America hit its peak in the 70s! The way shit used to be ran, we used to actually have freedom! This shit fell so far off, it really can only get back to what it was wit a real Nigga like me pushin that real shit on a whole new level! This stuck in the internet chat streamer twitcher fake content AI shit gotta stop! This shit feeds nobody’s soul. All anybody can do it talk about it week after week on a podcast saying the same shit over and over. No innovation no progress just pointless existence now when this Nigga mark thinks he needs to take hella shrooms and drink hella alcohol just to get hella paranoid and have a shitty night after night makes no sense that this is the reality the world has come to. That’s not living! But that’s what this generation wants, pure anxiety and depression🤡🤦🏽 They don’t know what fun is anymore
And Bernie Mac the 🐐 Nigga!
I never know if I’m enjoying Rick or not. I watch him often and never know. But I return.
I skip lesser pods when he shows up but I'll try for these two.
For sure the same he’s entertaining and has some moments of being funny
Not dogging on him, but I've never been a fan of Rick. Idk, maybe I just don't "get it" cuz he seems to have a lot of diehards fans that ride for him🤷♂️
I’ve seen Rick on maybe 6-8 pods over the last few weeks and I’m still trying to figure him out. He’s very confrontational in an awkward way. I will say, TYSO is funny, good editing. The Bobby Lee Ep is pretty good. Also liked Segura.
Took the words right out of my mouth
Can't lie, when I saw that Burr had cast Rick as the annoying neighbour in his movie I thought it was perfect casting
Why would you lie in the first place? *car bomb sound*
Ya got that right guy is anoyying af
30 seconds in and I'm already annoyed
@@DNYGdj wait another 30 seconds so you can get really annoyed.
Already am pretty sure mark is too by the way it’s starting
The fact that Rick made them do extra edit cuts on their own podcast is on brand.
He left Chrissy Choas at a loss for words a few times in that episode, well worth a watch
@@WKRP187and that’s not a blanket statement 😏
@@SuperBrentendo89 WTF are you talking about??
@@WKRP187 oh lol. I assumed you watch Rick’s podcast. It’s a recurring joke on the show where he subtly knocks the blanket off the back of his chair whenever he or the guest says “blanket statement”.
It's annoying
34:32 “I will, I’ll speak for him, I don’t give a fuck about your therapist” could be an all time top Sam quote
At some point Sam switched to agressive, Looks like after he said Ricks a friend and got laughed at. He told Mark to shut up too and the vibes went south. Rick tries to pick it up but that door is shut and he never brings it anyway this round.
😂
35:39 “still breastfeeding huh?” Is also a top 10 mark line on this pod
Rick so weiner-ee that he makes Sam look like a badass
Rick just isn’t funny and Sam is. 41:50 brutal
Rick Glassman - that friend you love to share stories about, but have to eventually fight.
I can handle him in small doses. He was pretty funny in this episode imo.
As type casting goes, Im a Rick. I know you are sharing stories. You guys struggle with being upfront...is it a fear thing?
@@markstewart4501 I’m probably the most upfront person to a fault. I Overshare and I’m an open book. That’s not the issue. He just keeps pushing and pushing.
@@carsondenny1986 How about digging instead of pushing? Neither is especially great if it isn't received well. Social cues are a big weakness to the autistic. Its going to come with any social territory for him.
Sam and Mark, as a type, only retelling their past based on script. aka, they really aren't open. Skeletons hidden for sure.
Kind of social opposites.
@@carsondenny1986
Its not actually the pushing, at least not entirely. The biggest issue is the inability to recognize resistance to the pushing. Its not on purpose. But if you miss all the signals saying "STOP" then it eventually leads to literally yelling stop and it gets angry. Interestingly enough, if someone just started by outright saying stop and explaining why, itd probably be fine. But we are creatures that communicate with social cues.
Editors working overtime anytime Rick comes on the pod 😂
The ayg boys didn't do it. Toby played it correctly..
When Mark said “who’s that actress that looks like a goose?” I immediately said Jennifer Lawrence out loud lol. I couldn’t stop laughing when he said that was actually who he was thinking of
Rick telling Mark to turn it off is classic my arms are tired calling the kettle black. And I'm here for it
Its because he's jealous of Mark being more funny, Mark is a machine gun, Rick is a musket
@@telesphoros or he’s just making an ironic joke, telling him to stop being funny on a comedy podcast.
don’t tell me you’re more autistic than rick lol
@dude4852 just an ex fan of Ricky, go watch marks first appearance on ricks podcast you will Rick shut Mark down real fast. Rick is not self aware and trapped in an unfunny vessel
Only Rick Glassman can out tism Mark Normand.
He plays an autistic guy in a show. I don't think he knows he's on a show he acts the same way as real life
Mark is the type to say "fucking nerds" (meant jokingly), and Rick is the type to get offended by it.
He is actually autistic, like diagnosed.
@@602jcastillo he is autistic...
@@nethrir6265 think you're just not getting the humor tbh
There is never a time I don’t laugh at Mark Normand. That man is brilliantly funny.
Extreme editing in celebration of Rick. Love it!
So awesome
Necessity for Rick to be funny
@@daddybigmac6810 not at all
Rick makes me feel i’m momentarily detaching from this place of existence every time i watch him.
It’s like the fact that he has autism validates his insecure awkwardness in a comforting way. But then he’s all of a sudden so chaotically smooth and original that it’s just addicting to watch.
He doesn’t want you to ”catch him” but he also knows how to trap you if you do, creating a double illusion.
More than comedy, not just autism but a self-aware performance.
i have no idea what's going on with these three but i watch them all separately and they're fantastic, but this one just feels like a fever dream 😂
So nice of Rick to have Mark and Sam on the pod!
I know a great joke is coming when Mark does that shoulder dance thing😂😂
Rick is 100% the type of person who has to grow on you.
Mark didn’t miss a beat this podcast, very funny!
No he missed every beat. Just obnoxious 😂
I really enjoy Ricky talking about suits so frequently, like we simultaneously watched it
This crew is dynamic man I love when these 3 get together
Rick is like when someone sticks their finger in your belly button.
That feels like the end of my dick got hit by lightning
Lol real talk
lol that's so weirdly specific.
That's not your bellybutton
I’m trying to like this episode but it’s so bad
Rick is as is if a talent agent said "Give me ALL of the spectrum". I love the banter and seemingly uncomfortableness after Rick throws out the most random shit.
And then you have mark who can’t even look himself in the eyes while brushing his teeth
@@jakobmorningstar 💀
7 mins in and im...what..is happening? everyone's guard is uppp.
Rick is a Beaver. Oddly strong, their teeth dont stop growing unless they gnaw them, and he builds dams to stop the flow of conversation.
Every pod that Glassman is in starts to feel like tyso
Bro Rick can’t handle Mark fr lol marks the man
The “alright” at 15:00 almost killed me. 😂😂😂😂
I choked on spit... 😂😂😂
And Sam trying to hold the laugh 😂
Ricks dead face fucking made it more hilarious
When Esther said Adam Devine said things about Rick I was confused but the more I listen to him I think I get it. He seems to like to poke but he is so sensitive when it comes to him 😂
I love how this pod just starts. No "coming up" clips that ruin jokes
Man that is so true!
Although I get you… it’s a simple retention technique lol
A perfect start for an episode with Glassman in it.
“This is gunna be weird” was my reaction when I clicked on this haha. I’m here for it.
Rick really leaves his mark on every podcast he guests on. I love it 😂
Yeah he carries that negative energy everywhere he goes
@@CowneloAlvaroid it's definitely not for everyone, but I love awkwardness and uncomfortable settings.
Whoever edited this pod needs to keep doing them. The cuts to Rick's videos were hilarious
Rick has such a different style than them and it seems to keep them on their toes, creating some real gems.
I love that you guys upload right before I go to sleep, turn this pod on an laugh before bed and finish it in the morning at the gym.
That sounds nice! I fall asleep to pods/comedians too!
I do exactly the same thing lol
When you're on other pods and you're so well known for the animation on your pod that they feel obligated to animate a bit in the beginning.
Props to editing team for playing along.
I actually discovered Rick Glassman on this podcast and went to listen to his. I was so confused what the hell I was hearing until I watched it on youtube.
I like that second camera angle that shows more of the picture wall
I’ve never had a human being make me laugh and annoy me so much. The love hate relationship with Rick is like being a fan of a team that makes playoffs but never win a ring.
Vikings fan?
@@erikanderson1250 no, but I am a sympathizer for the them. I’d bet playoff Viking games has caused heart attacks for some die hards
Holy shit, I'm a Sixers fan and this comment hit me hard
I think you spelled Sam Morril wrong
as a Buffalo Bills fan, I love Rick Glassman
I read all the Waldo books when I was young... cool to finally hear his story.
"It's a beautiful language" hahaha.
"I don't give a fuck about your therapist" 😂😂😂
This energy is GOLDEN can't look away
I was already loving this but when Rick snapped and they cut in the commercial I had to stop what I was doing and come comment lol. Love this trio.
I completely understand Sam's energy in this ep. Mark you're the man for trying to keep the train moving. He seems like an impossible guest.
The segment where it cut to the Rick/Mark 69 compilation had me in tears. Gays! Love em
It's so hard to watch Rick when he's not in his zone. It's like he gets mad that he can't play how he wants to play so he decides to grab others by the proverbial collar and shake them in to 9 different directions, sometimes also having a rude undertone that's not the playful serious Rick he plays at other times. It's not even outward, it's elemental (if that explains anything at all). Either I'm on board for a good pod or I'm wondering, "Why tf is he acting like this?"
Rick won't really be happy until every rule of social discourse lay bleeding on the ground. He's Redban, but with timing.
Bro this dude has a dogshit personality 😂
Lmfao what a wild comparison
You’re giving him way too much credit here lmao
He’s more just poking at it with his finger. Good alertness, but with weakass punchlines
Compare it to something like Bill Burr roasting Conan’s appearance or background on his own talk show. That’s a pro at work
And then Patrice was on a completely different level
He’s redban, but not funny and thoroughly unlikable 😂
100% BASED
Made it 10 min, this guy seems painful to be around.
Thanks as always for the free content, looking forward to next week.
This is the appropriate reaction.
His comedy is geared towards the tick-tock generation
I thought there might be others. I lasted about 10 minutes myself. Started to cringe every time he spoke.
This comment needs more “likes” .
I guess all of us who “don’t get it” or aren’t familiar with Glassman will comment under this post. I came here looking to see if I was the only one thinking Mark was about to slap Rick. I’m an hour in, maybe he does!
Im not gonna lie, Im half awake working right now, but when Sam said "how I fuck my children is none of your business" around 57:35 made me crack up laughing.
id like to thank Rick Glassman for introducing me to peppermint oil pills
Rick will never simply give someone satisfaction that he may agree with them. Where he stands is not with whoever you are.
Rick telling Mark, "Turn it off dude." Is the ULTIMATE irony.
I sincerely hope he meant that to be a joke...
Good Lord...
Lol it’s wild seeing people not understand Rick
no i got it dude. i think the whole irony of this was lost on YOU... the comment itself was in love of Rick. Cause i understand him. Comedy! @@Tcraft024
Not many things get Rick to being speechless after a joke, just because he's so good at coming back harder but for some reason that totally serious "what animal would you be? A ferret?" comment got him there 😂
That’s because it was probably more observation than joke lol
Truth hurts
Mark was too quick so he had no option to go the other way..
It's actually uncanny
As someone who doesn't really like sweets, Rick is just like cake: not bad for the first couple bites, then progressively worse the more you get of it. Thankfully my arms were very well-rested for this one.
Over the past few weeks I've really became a fan of Mark and Sam, and they just deliver gold non stop! Rick is one of my faves as well🎉 great ep
RIck Glassman always brings the chaos.
....and the douche chills.
I love rick glassman! Him and Mark are so funny together. 😂
If Rick was a pastry he would be a French macaron. Gluten free, simple yet delicate to make, interesting texture, and endlessly colorful 🍡
He's fruity flavored for sure 😆
It tastes alright, feels a bit too pretentious, and you can never really understand why it became quite so popular
@@amellowblue I was subtle, yours is precise 👏😂
Nah, he'd be the last stale leftover, weird shaped and covered in unedible rainbow sprinkles and tangy bacterial "lemon" filling.
I feel like ricks the only guy that can make Sam laugh like that
autism vs autism
Lmfao
Rick Glassmans energy is very potent, def has them on edge, also everyone’s dressed much better than usual today
I wish pods would commit even more to Rick when he comes on. He’s the only guy doing his kinda thing in the podcast world and I really dig it.
Omg three of my favorite dudes. Great improv scenes. "Black kids
--Woooo!!!"
I can't help but be reminded of Redbar Mike crapping on Glassman for having a loving family.
Bro....yall called it.....Feinstein died lmaooooo
Sam's very serious question to Rick: "Why don't you stop playing games with me, dude? You're playing games." This pretty much describes the awkwardness of this episode.
Rick thinks he's being smart. He's just annoying.
@@KidVll He's less annoying when he is with more playful people. Him and Mark together are great. Sam doesn't mix well with Rick.
@@KidVllit’s a bit.
Rick can be funny but dude has been trying way too hard recently and its getting annoying. @@KidVll
When did this happen in the episode? I can't listen to another episode with him, unfortunately
I love all three of you! I watch you daily on your respective pods. It's nice to see you together. Great EP❤
Love Rick's uniqueness. He reminds me of a guy that you'd meet while visiting an uncle in the mental hospital. At first you're wary then you realize he's got answers to questions you haven't even begun to think of and though he might make you uneasy you really wish he'd abduct you and take you for a ride in his spaceship...🛸
This is something Theo von would say
Love that you guys edit differently when ricks on
first 15 mins had me crying laughing
At work this pod had me laughing , norm with his inputs & the role play lmao
Ricks said it before. He's got 45 mins of funny, and I think it went to the previous pod he did before this. Still love him and still enjoyed seeing a more serious side of him. He's interesting as fuck.
45 mins *or less* (hint: less)
Lol I love how they got on his head for the potato pancakes on the end, good!! 🤣🤣😂
how is it that I just finished watching the previous Rick Glassman ep, and this one drops immediately? Spooky.
Literally same, I didn’t even realize I was on a brand new up until half way through
SAME !!! recently loving mark and glassman then BOOM new ep together 😮
“She does look like a Goose in THAT one…took a little time, but you are a good lawyer” 😂😂😂
And I just poured me a glass of Bodega Cat!
Wow I'm getting my fill with this podcast episode right now, ready to fast tomorrow as much as possible, or as little as possible, speaking of fast I wish this podcast episode was over faster than it was. I'm not even halfway through yet.
I'm high as balls and this master class in surreal, non-stop, straight-faced absurdism is cracking my ass up.
Way to shake things up this week, gang.
Normand is extra funny in this episode
Haha Rick got the carpet commercial in their podcast too, I love it. Total pod takeover
Oh Rick glassman,he just flew in and boy are his jokes tired
Uptight and defensive is the opposite of the WMBD vibe
He's insecure everywhere
"Burnt to a crisp.." alright... CMON thats gold!
Wow. I swear to Christ I knew exactly who Mark was talking about when he brought up the hot goose actress..
Same lol, never thought of it before but figured it was her.
47:35 Marc laughing about his joke got me 😂😂😂
1998 No lie. Singer of Cake his date were going to a movie at the K street Mall in Sacramento. Caught up to them on the escalator, noticed his dress shoes and socks wearing shorts. I was like are you the singer of Cake and he was like yeah just keep it cool. I looked around and no one was around and laughed. Then I asked him about the music business when you have a band. 1998
14:30 Mark seeming genuinely impressed by Sam’s fart sounds killed me
I cringed so hard at the improv by Kevin Hart and Glassman around the 12 minute mark 😂
14:49
EPIC TAG TEAM JOKE FROM SAM & MARKIE
Rick Glassman needing edits he didnt already force on the producers lol what the hell is this
And the thumbnail is perfect 😂
Mark’s speed with association is lightning quick. For real - First time I’ve seen someone faster than Rick. So many puns/callbacks/left turns. I’m impressed Mr Normand
"Rick stinks".- what Patrice O' Neal would have said.
Rick Glassman makes for such funny eps
Just wrote this comment and boy are my arms tired
I love how Rick disagreed saying “it’s not rage” and then went on to sound like the angriest person
29:39 WTF with the "turn it off, dude"? Didn't sound like a joke to me.
The Twilight Zone episode of We Might Be Drunk
15 min in and I feel this episode should have had the warning intro instead of the Al Franken episode.
Lol My thoughts exactly.
