The only reason someone doesn’t believe in Sasquatch is because they haven’t seen one yet or they can’t handle that reality

No proof only truly exists once it has undergone scrutiny and vetting. Until then, it remains merely a narrative." The trend of expecting blind acceptance solely based on the speaker's authority must come to an end. It's unfair to prioritize avoiding discomfort over addressing straightforward questions that individuals either can not or will not answer solely to protect their feelings. People trust their eyes above all else - but most people see what they wish to see or what they believe they should see; not what is really there. Healthy skepticism or the ability to know whether an explanation makes sense, based on the evidence observed helps us process information, but the majority of these people just want to be an environment in which a person encounters only beliefs or opinions that coincide with their own, so that their existing views are reinforced and alternative ideas and facts are not considered.
“the weight of evidence for an extraordinary claim must be proportioned to its strangeness” (Gillispie et al., 1999).

Point well taken. However, as one of the most influential philosophers of science, Thomas Kuhn has observed (in one of the most cited academic books of all time-and required reading in my training as a scientist)-The Structure of Scientific Revolutions), “objective” science is not always as objective as you may think.
Further, it is heavily biased by materialistic assumptions and normative statistical analyses that routinely fail to account for outlier data, or even Quantum Mechanics for that matter where by the mere act of measuring or observing an event or phenomenon influences it.
Reality as we know it, according to many physicists and cognitive psychologists, e.g. Donald Hoffman may not represent actual reality.

"People trust their eyes above all else-but most people see what they wish to see or what they believe they should see".
That's a bold and arrogant statement.
      paraphrasing you;
" You didn't see what you said you saw because I don't believe you saw what you said you saw even though I didn't see it."
Thousands of people didn't see what they said they saw because you said so.

I find people often say the goofiest, strangest things to explain how it wasn't a Bigfoot but something else. It was a blackbear, man in a costume or light playing in the shadows of the trees. My brother said
"Maybe it was a raccoon that took the food you left out in a gifting basket hanging from a tree limb." I said that might be if a raccoon was 8 feet tall and covered in black hair and was standing there looking at me when I stepped out on my porch!
I used to get insulted but now I honestly think some people can't allow their brains to realize such a thing exists. It simply shuts down on them. PTSD?

I'm hoping somebody will make a movie with the inspiration that it's not a monster that is more even more true to being supernatural to being an interdimensional and seen some of the beauty that you guys portray in this channel into a movie so that people can get a different concept. It's too easy to make a monster film but it does nothing to the fact of making people say there's no such thing as monsters. Or that it's too scary to go back in the woods and thus families don't get to experience nature like they should because of this fear. You have the power to change this with another movie.❤

I had the experience of that intimidating scream/yell… the undefinable sound that seems to have no familiar equal for reference… Howler monkeys-stallions-bull elk-everything in the cat family-elephants-bears-wolves… add ‘em up together, make it just mofo loud, start at an extremely low frequency and climb to a higher and higher pitch, in a stair step fashion…not a smooth climb like a siren, more of a saw-tooth short climb with a small fall back and then another short climb etc. Damn Loud. I would guess maybe 15 seconds, maybe longer and stop. Just long enough for your mind to come to the possibility that someone or something is getting slowly killed… and then repeat the whole thing, note for note. Like a rehearsed call, created and done for a certain reason. Scare somebody into quickly leaving the area. But I was building a log cabin, so I stayed in the area for months after I moved in. I had three more incidents after this one, but none as threatening. Kinda eventually tips your life upside down. It was fifty years ago this August, in 1974.

I spent a terrifying night in a tree house with a school mate at 16. We thought we would surely be killed but it just screamed, roared, scraped at the bottom of the tree house, threw things and kept us in a state of fear until sunrise. We did have food, candles and a flashlight but no way to defend ourselves. This was long before cell phones. When the woods went quiet, I popped my head through the floor door and looked around. I couldn't see anything. We decided to make a run for it. It was about 3 miles from our neighbourhood. All our friends said it was a goatman which I'd nit heard of before. This took place in Maryland. My friend ignored my pms when I reached out to her on FB and asked her questions about that night. I wanted to fill in some of the lost memories of that night but she refused to reply. Anyway, I'm thankful for all the Bigfoot podcasts . I enjoy hearing about peoples encounters. It's fascinating. I wish people would quit going on about " supernatural and portals ".. can they not accept that these creatures are in their own back yard and have years of bushcraft behind them ? They can move silently and quickly when they want to. People are the same i'm noisy, a friend who is built like a man mountain moves like a shadow in the brush , he can't explain it , he just shrugs and says I just move that way....

Bigfoot move so damned fast compared to us that our human eyes simply cannot follow the movement. It reminds me of a cartoon character like Sonic Hedgehog.
Zip...gone! I think some are super advanced and can do the enterdimensional thing. But they have so many tricks they learn to confuse us when we step into their world! You will rarely see an adult one unless he or she wants you to!

In our home, on 3 different occasions, at separate times we have had an visit from BF. I was fishing at a lake that just reopened after a 5 year closure. I left my vehicle at trailhead, packed my fishing gear to the lake. I decided to go up a trail aways to go pee. As i was squatting, i smelled this horrific smell, im thinking oh no not a bear! No sounds, the area was erie quiet. As im squatting, something is throwing pine cones at me in a sideways angle. That horrific smell, no sound..i couldn't wait to finish, grab my gear and leave. We later learned bf had been seen at this lake area. That was close enough experience for me. Another time my spouse was elk hunting 5 miles or better into the deep woods, he decided to sit, leans up next to a 8 inch stand of trees. As he was enjoying his snack, not for away he saw trees, whipping as something huge was shaking them. He been a timber cutter for 20 plus years. NEVER in those years ever saw this. Needless to say..he hurried out of the woods off the game trail. The 3 experience was our daughter hunting experience, the day before opening elk day..the hunting party was doing last minute sighting in the rifles. As she shot the 1 st,she looked through her scope..the was a Bigfoot. The next day they tried to look for footprints. The under brush was so massive no human could get through that area. It was a sighting she speaks about. They were lucky to witness the bf. She said it was massive!

“Why would I do a hoax?”
I’d tell’em “because somebody might watch your movie that you plan to make, from it”.
That’s why it would be so drawn out and “complex”. A movie needs more than some creature yelling out. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kevin...you asked for ideas for your next Big Legend movie...perhaps add a supernatural side of the creature to go along with the flesh and blood part. As a Christian, I do believe at least some of these creatures possess the fallen angel DNA and thus have angel powers regarding dimensions and strength. I have been thinking that a story or trilogy of movies/books with experiencing the flesh and blood (tracks, skat, etc) but also with the demonic side. I don't believe all of these creatures are either good or evil...why can't some be more flesh and blood, but some are supernatural and demonic? Anyways, cool episode and good luck with the movie. BTW...I grew up fishing up in the Sierras...beautiful area.

According to many other sightings, Bigfoot has some of what we would call 'supernatural' abilities and talents that other animals on earth don't have, including being able to mask themselves in plain sight such that they 'almost' disappear (in a shimmering translucent energy field like the ET in the movie Predator). They can glow slightly at night, change shape, change body colour, change the colour of their eye glow and turn it on and off, and they can form themselves into an orb of energy which moves extremely fast - like a bullet from a gun. They have a spoken language but also use telepathy to communicate and can directly sense emotions. Highly intelligent. Protective of their families and territory. I suspect their abilities relate to control over energy. So yes, they are flesh and blood beings but apparently so much more than that.

If you were being hoaxed or pranked, that wou take a fair bit of planning and coordination. That means that the people doing the prank would have known what you were doing, when and where you were doing it. Then be there at the right time knowing where you would be and have a way to get out while being undetected. That IMO is a bigger stretch that it actually being Bigfoot.

Well, he IS an actor, but if he were "embellishing", he'd do a better job. This is not some improv or monologue. Look at the clips from the movie where he's playing a character: totally different personality and delivery. This is the real "him", very animated about something crazy that happened to him. Also: he's not "Hollywood". That's a whole different crowd. I've worked with some of the people on his film (2nd Unit director, stunt coordinator, FX, etc.), all indie filmmakers

Monstrous you feel like an ant because that's what should happen. You push yourself and then what? And then what it already screamed at you to leave. Now you're being ignorant. He made a film that depicted 'his girlfriend taken by bigfoots and never found again". Well... that was the first clue.. his ego is ott and if he ever does have an encounter, I'm pretty sure he will have some stern questions to answer.
