I'm hoping somebody will make a movie with the inspiration that it's not a monster that is more even more true to being supernatural to being an interdimensional and seen some of the beauty that you guys portray in this channel into a movie so that people can get a different concept. It's too easy to make a monster film but it does nothing to the fact of making people say there's no such thing as monsters. Or that it's too scary to go back in the woods and thus families don't get to experience nature like they should because of this fear. You have the power to change this with another movie.❤
I had the experience of that intimidating scream/yell… the undefinable sound that seems to have no familiar equal for reference… Howler monkeys-stallions-bull elk-everything in the cat family-elephants-bears-wolves… add ‘em up together, make it just mofo loud, start at an extremely low frequency and climb to a higher and higher pitch, in a stair step fashion…not a smooth climb like a siren, more of a saw-tooth short climb with a small fall back and then another short climb etc. Damn Loud. I would guess maybe 15 seconds, maybe longer and stop. Just long enough for your mind to come to the possibility that someone or something is getting slowly killed… and then repeat the whole thing, note for note. Like a rehearsed call, created and done for a certain reason. Scare somebody into quickly leaving the area. But I was building a log cabin, so I stayed in the area for months after I moved in. I had three more incidents after this one, but none as threatening. Kinda eventually tips your life upside down. It was fifty years ago this August, in 1974. Thanks for doing this video. This is unquestionably the best Sasquatch/Bigfoot channel on TH-cam.
Smart, talented guy. I love his energy and enthusiasm. Plus, he was pretty brave, wanting to go check out the spot where the roar came from immediately afterward. And he’s brave not to care what other people think of his interest in the big guys. I think the bigs would really like his energy. I hope he gets to have more contact with them.
That was a great movie! I need to watch it again, now that I've heard the back story. Cant wait for a Sequel! I believe he had a Squatch experience. I grew up camping that area as a teenager. Stuff happened.
Kern river. We used to go tubing down that river. The rapids are fun! Definitely some great habitat for Sabe. Sometimes those with you may be 'put to sleep" with infrasound. Did your friend remember what happened? Also putting logs across the road is typical Sabe behavior, usually there is no room to go around and you are forced to get out and move, cut the tree, log, branches.......
I spent a terrifying night in a tree house with a school mate at 16. We thought we would surely be killed but it just screamed, roared, scraped at the bottom of the tree house, threw things and kept us in a state of fear until sunrise. We did have food, candles and a flashlight but no way to defend ourselves. This was long before cell phones. When the woods went quiet, I popped my head through the floor door and looked around. I couldn't see anything. We decided to make a run for it. It was about 3 miles from our neighbourhood. All our friends said it was a goatman which I'd nit heard of before. This took place in Maryland. My friend ignored my pms when I reached out to her on FB and asked her questions about that night. I wanted to fill in some of the lost memories of that night but she refused to reply. Anyway, I'm thankful for all the Bigfoot podcasts . I enjoy hearing about peoples encounters. It's fascinating. I'm a believer.
Wow! Talk about traumatic experience! Glad you’re able to talk about it now. Wonder what your friend would say… did other people talk about activity or strange things in the woods?
Happy Summer Solstice! Mark, what a great retelling of your encounter and your movie project Big Legend experience. I wonder, though, when you were leaving the filming and encountered the moved debris on the road, did you ever consider maybe they didn't want you to leave? Maybe they wanted to figure out what you were up to with the noise and screaming. Some encounters say they can be right next to you, and you wouldn't know it! I believe!✨✨🌞🌞✨✨
I thought something similar. If the forest peeps were really annoyed, the road would have been completely blocked. The fact that they could drive around the tree and didn’t need a chainsaw to bust it up made me go, “hmmm…..”
I wish people would quit going on about " supernatural and portals ".. can they not accept that these creatures are in their own back yard and have years of bushcraft behind them ? They can move silently and quickly when they want to. People are the same i'm noisy, a friend who is built like a man mountain moves like a shadow in the brush , he can't explain it , he just shrugs and says I just move that way....
Bigfoot move so damned fast compared to us that our human eyes simply cannot follow the movement. It reminds me of a cartoon character like Sonic Hedgehog. Zip...gone! I think some are super advanced and can do the enterdimensional thing. But they have so many tricks they learn to confuse us when we step into their world! You will rarely see an adult one unless he or she wants you to!
In our home, on 3 different occasions, at separate times we have had an visit from BF. I was fishing at a lake that just reopened after a 5 year closure. I left my vehicle at trailhead, packed my fishing gear to the lake. I decided to go up a trail aways to go pee. As i was squatting, i smelled this horrific smell, im thinking oh no not a bear! No sounds, the area was erie quiet. As im squatting, something is throwing pine cones at me in a sideways angle. That horrific smell, no sound..i couldn't wait to finish, grab my gear and leave. We later learned bf had been seen at this lake area. That was close enough experience for me. Another time my spouse was elk hunting 5 miles or better into the deep woods, he decided to sit, leans up next to a 8 inch stand of trees. As he was enjoying his snack, not for away he saw trees, whipping as something huge was shaking them. He been a timber cutter for 20 plus years. NEVER in those years ever saw this. Needless to say..he hurried out of the woods off the game trail. The 3 experience was our daughter hunting experience, the day before opening elk day..the hunting party was doing last minute sighting in the rifles. As she shot the 1 st,she looked through her scope..the was a Bigfoot. The next day they tried to look for footprints. The under brush was so massive no human could get through that area. It was a sighting she speaks about. They were lucky to witness the bf. She said it was massive!
“Why would I do a hoax?” I’d tell’em “because somebody might watch your movie that you plan to make, from it”. That’s why it would be so drawn out and “complex”. A movie needs more than some creature yelling out. 🤷🏻♂️ Or maybe I just took you wrong when you asked us “why?”. Thanks FOB .. I always give the 👍🏼
Kevin...you asked for ideas for your next Big Legend movie...perhaps add a supernatural side of the creature to go along with the flesh and blood part. As a Christian, I do believe at least some of these creatures possess the fallen angel DNA and thus have angel powers regarding dimensions and strength. I have been thinking that a story or trilogy of movies/books with experiencing the flesh and blood (tracks, skat, etc) but also with the demonic side. I don't believe all of these creatures are either good or evil...why can't some be more flesh and blood, but some are supernatural and demonic? Anyways, cool episode and good luck with the movie. BTW...I grew up fishing up in the Sierras...beautiful area.
You didn't know what class rapids you were doing..Wasn't class V if it was your 1st time unless you slipped through the system. Was that the Forks of the Kern, the Upper Kern, or lower Kern that you did? do you remember what the rafting company's name you went with?
According to many other sightings, Bigfoot has some of what we would call 'supernatural' abilities and talents that other animals on earth don't have, including being able to mask themselves in plain sight such that they 'almost' disappear (in a shimmering translucent energy field like the ET in the movie Predator). They can glow slightly at night, change shape, change body colour, change the colour of their eye glow and turn it on and off, and they can form themselves into an orb of energy which moves extremely fast - like a bullet from a gun. They have a spoken language but also use telepathy to communicate and can directly sense emotions. Highly intelligent. Protective of their families and territory. I suspect their abilities relate to control over energy. So yes, they are flesh and blood beings but apparently so much more than that.
i believe the story but he said he backed away from the ridge but couldn't see anything as it was dark. A few minutes later he then said he wanted to go back and had a flash light and pocket knife. Why not use the flash light when it was still 15 feet up on the ridge?
If you were being hoaxed or pranked, that wou take a fair bit of planning and coordination. That means that the people doing the prank would have known what you were doing, when and where you were doing it. Then be there at the right time knowing where you would be and have a way to get out while being undetected. That IMO is a bigger stretch that it actually being Bigfoot.
Big Legend was actually a good film..you occasionally run across a well made Indie..cant find anything on Monster Chronicles, curious if that was on the schedule...
Exactly his story seem shaky and his being so scared for his life he went up there with a knife ???? Plus what about his friend who play dead??? Delusional
Well, he IS an actor, but if he were "embellishing", he'd do a better job. This is not some improv or monologue. Look at the clips from the movie where he's playing a character: totally different personality and delivery. This is the real "him", very animated about something crazy that happened to him. Also: he's not "Hollywood". That's a whole different crowd. I've worked with some of the people on his film (2nd Unit director, stunt coordinator, FX, etc.), all indie filmmakers

Who knows what it needed you to leave. For whatever reason you took it upon yourself and disrespected it in its own territory on its own land. Just saying that's a whole lot of disrespect
from what everybody else is saying, and I've listened to nearly all of these interviews.... this man .. isn't in full integrity. He made a film that depicted 'his girlfriend taken by bigfoots and never found again". Well... that was the first clue.. his ego is ott and if he ever does have an encounter, I'm pretty sure he will have some stern questions to answer. It's too easy to make a monster film but it does nothing to the fact of making people say there's no such thing as monsters. Or that it's too scary to go back in the woods and thus families don't get to experience nature like they should because of this fear. You have the power to change this with another movie.❤
Watch a movie called " letters from the big man " much better portrayal of a squatch, nit just the Hollywood monster type , 👍
@gr8northernpike excellent story, thank you for sharing
Smart, talented guy. I love his energy and enthusiasm. Plus, he was pretty brave, wanting to go check out the spot where the roar came from immediately afterward. And he’s brave not to care what other people think of his interest in the big guys. I think the bigs would really like his energy. I hope he gets to have more contact with them.
Great movie! I have the DvD in my collection! Great interview!
This channel is unbelievably well done. 👍
Sabe like Saber tooth tiger?

This guy was very interesting to listen to and by the looks of it the Bigfoot gave him some workout tips for his biceps 💪😂💪😂
@@rumigirl Yep.
One of my favorite bigfoot movie's of all time.
Love the shirt🤣🤣🤣
Big Legend was a pretty solid Bigfoot flick. Way better than I expected it to be. A bit corny but pretty entertaining.
That intro was kick-ass. 🔥😅 funny too.. “the big man”.
That guy does some very convincing Bigfoot vocalizations.
He probably has some Neanderthal dna
Movie was filmed in Cougar Wa...
Is there lots of older women there that are Into young guys? Please lmk 🙏🙏
Nobody lets their young sons walk alone, there
Ok, I’m going to be very selfish: when, when, when is The Monster Chronicles coming out?! Loved the first one, and your westerns are great too.
loved that movie , and this site . great guest . i love jill and tobe talks as well , could listen to brett talk all day long . got a crush on jill.
Blessings. Go truckers and railway workers. Cleveland
Thanks!
I saw the movie a couple years ago and loved it!😊
If you see Bigfoot you shouldnt forget the year you saw him
Part2would be great
Bigfoot was just toying with ya. He knew you guys were unarmed (lack of gunpowder smell), and Def got a laugh out of this.
It wanted to come down to river and you guys were there. And that's the way they travel most of time they're are rarely alone
“Why would I do a hoax?”
I’d tell’em “because somebody might watch your movie that you plan to make, from it”.
That’s why it would be so drawn out and “complex”. A movie needs more than some creature yelling out. 🤷🏻♂️
Or maybe I just took you wrong when you asked us “why?”.
Thanks FOB .. I always give the 👍🏼
Im a little confused here because this movie came out a LONG TIME AGO, and yet THIS was posted 2 months ago???
We happened to be in LA earlier this year and were in Kevin’s neighborhood- thought we’d drop by and get his interview for fun!
Well, jason, you do sound confused, but when your mother's brother is your father and uncle, that shts confusing
Dermal Ridges - cool!!!!! Talk about "details"!
O believe you had a Bigfoot encounter myself.
Tell?
I believe you. Case well made. You came across a bigfoot.
My favorite of all the Bigfoot themed movies I do hope they do a sequel maybe a different location the Chestnut Ridge would be cool
Big legend two please!
Th is a good experince like mine the vibrations are so invaceive and real. The whole thing is good .
If thousands of people saw something that doesn't exist. Then what in hell did they see?
Apparently everyone has seen these except me
Is BIG LEGEND 2 going to happen 🤔
Should not have made the movie with Bigfoot as the bad guy
Is that the Current River in Missouri?
Big Legend was actually a good film..you occasionally run across a well made Indie..cant find anything on Monster Chronicles, curious if that was on the schedule...
Curiosity offed the cat. Satisfaction brought it back.
I like Bigfoot and wrestling. He played Randy Savage in Young Rock
Exactly his story seem shaky and his being so scared for his life he went up there with a knife ???? Plus what about his friend who play dead??? Delusional
You went looking for this THING not knowing what it was with a flashlight and a pocket knife? Really?
This guy reminds me of an actor embellishing a story, the Hollywood vibe gives me red flags
Oh please.
I got to agree - I think I believe him, but the way he tells it is not like other witnesses do, for sure.
Ahhhh. A bass player myself. Kevin knew instantly Spinal Tap Crew weren’t there fucking with campers.
Continuing my listening to Kevin I think his balls are respected by a new BFFF he’s acquired . A Big Foot Friend Forever.
Best bigfoot movie currently...Still believe someone could do better though
I heard the scream too! I was putting my poodles out at 5:30 am, the power of their scream is just so loud. I can only compare it to a dinosaur.
We must protect their habitats. I wonder if we have them in France. Parts of the Pyrenees look like Oregon.
@@fightforyourfreedomsdon’t worry, the vast majority of the world is, in fact, uninhabited by humans. Just take a flight, and look out the window sometime.
Dang. Bros the only guy who can talk more than I do 😅😅
Can you please do Monster Chronicles and gives a date when
This guy can't tell an otherwise good story.
Nice. I hope he has figured out by now that Sasquatch is both real AND paranormal.
Hi squatchers.
Sound like the area right below Deadman's Curve rapid about 10 miles below the dam.
Decent movies he's made.
i saw the movie big legend this man is talking about it was alright it was interesting and similar to what i felt that a friendly encounter similar to what Sasquatchflow said seems to be accurate as to how to respond to a creature that has the strength of ten people and there is nothing you can do so be kind
Just enjoy the account...if it bothers you, leave...
My thing is the endless numbers of gigantic X's made out of stripped trees in desolate places. < keep me going
HE WILL FIND OUT ABOUT THEM BEING SUPER NATURAL EVENTUALLY, MAYBE ? I know and can prove something that is huge in this arena ! I need to confer with the right people before releasing this . I will .
You are correct, about what you experienced. I’m sorry your friend is in denial.
this guys arms are huge, almost as big as mine:D
Of course they're flesh and blood.
And they're supernatural.
They're both.
This movie based on a truth? Cant think of any stories where anyone was hurt by rocks or logs? Club Member asking....
It’s fiction- inspired by his experience
@@aflashofbigfoot i haven't seen it, just wondering how the embellishments may contribute to the way humans perceive the forest peoples 🤷♀️
@@aflashofbigfoot ah! Then I hope it serves to imspire understanding,,not fear... 🙏
I always say this. What happens when you go all the way in and you find it and it's one of the large ones so it's 14 to 16 ft tall. Couple thousand lb. Monstrous you feel like an ant because that's what should happen. You push yourself and then what? And then what it already screamed at you to leave. Now you're being ignorant. Who knows what it needed you to leave. For whatever reason you took it upon yourself and disrespected it in its own territory on its own land. Just saying that's a whole lot of disrespect
No disrespect to you. Life happens and you? You make your own destiny and thank you for sharing your story
from what everybody else is saying, and I've listened to nearly all of these interviews.... this man .. isn't in full integrity. He made a film that depicted 'his girlfriend taken by bigfoots and never found again". Well... that was the first clue.. his ego is ott and if he ever does have an encounter, I'm pretty sure he will have some stern questions to answer. It's just wrong, to malign them to make a dramatic tweak for money. hmm.
Your buddy that thought you were hoaxed, ain’t too bright … don’t trust him with the important stuff.
999% chance that roar wasn't a hoax.... "volume"
Laughing at your friend saying it’s a hoax. You were in the wilderness on a cliff. Too many sightings not to believe in Sasquatch plus stories from American Indians passing on many legends from Ancestors.
Only one hero jacket? Oof. Brave, lol.
I know right?! That's a LOW-budget movie! Haha!
👍
