    One lady uses her freezer to freeze flat freeze things to put in her ice chest freezer and that way she can be gone a week without having to go to a store she changes the freezer things each day.

      @@willymags123 She just uses her ice chest to keep her food in and a small freezer to freeze her flat freeze containers to replace in her ice chest each day,I think she uses about 12 of them,that way she doesn't have to buy a bag of ice,I think her name is Lulu,might be spelled wrong.She has a large ice chest, I think she uses about 6 each day.And yes I said it was large.

    Looks as if it’ll work well for travel. Looking forward to more videos of the box truck conversion.

    A great way to also hold in the cold is with a gasket. I just bought a non electrical cooler but I took silicone and made a gasket which really made a difference in holding in the cold air. Also if you can cover the entire fridge it also really helps to maintain the temperature. Till next time, God bless. ❤

    This looks like a nice one…..We have one ( different brand) it’s all one like a cooler and we carry it in our truck when we travel and go to our house in Georgia once a month to carry our food. Mostly use as a cooler, but we have used as a freezer to carry frozen food home. We got my son in law one for Christmas for when they travel. So nice to have food as you need it when traveling and not have to stop for food….or ice with wet food! - watching from Lake Wales, Florida

    use the 12 volt dc adaptor to plug into the battery bank , if you use the 120 plug it uses more power.

    Would you use baskets in the deep side? Looks interesting. Let us know how it works after your trip back to Virginia.

      We will build it into a cabinet on a slide-out shelf to give access to the top opening. Set Power even makes a slide out specifically for this fridge.

    After you actually use it… I am interested to know about condensation interior/exterior. Also when storing it do you need to leave the lid open at first to dry. If you only use one side will the other side stay dry inside? I am the person who likes to prevent issues because cleaning (mold) is not fun. I am thinking of a regular cooler as an example when it is not dry and is stored closed.

    • @LiveSimpleLiveFree
      @LiveSimpleLiveFree  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Leaving the lid open to dry before you store it would be essential. Anything with moisture that is closed up could be potential problems.
      If we only use one side will the other side stay dry inside? I don't know, we haven't used it like that. But I don't see how moisture could build up in the side that's not being used. It is well insulated.

    Hi. I ordered the bigger freezer/fridge from this link and it arrived about two hours ago. My husband and I are getting an error message E6, it won’t come on. Sent them e mail, called and messaged them. They did answer and asked for pic which we sent with error message. No response. It is hot here in fl but we are in air conditioning. Any ideas how to get them to answer. Thanks. Blessings!

      They always responded to my emails within a day or day and a half. Email is the only way I’ve ever corresponded with them.

    I have the same unit. However I noticed when my compressor kicks back on to drop the temps. It raised the side it's cooling temps 10degrees before bringing it back to the preset temp... do you notice the temps increase while the compressor starts ? Also do you notice a liquid moving bubbles noise from the compressor area?

    • @LiveSimpleLiveFree
      @LiveSimpleLiveFree  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven't used it enough to notice if the temp raises when the compressor starts. The bubble noise is typical for refrigeration compressors. The liquid refrigerant is flowing around in there.
