I will make sure to see this with my own eyes one day Though I can't help but hear a mute accusation from this place - "descendant, you with your modern technology, in a society that supposedly 'progressed' that looks down at people who planned and created me, how come you haven't built anything close, let alone surpassing this? Why are you living in a box of glass and concrete?"
This is the best St Peter's tour video I have watched. Thank you for posting it. I also watched the one you did on the Square. By chance do you have one on the underground grottos?
It’s not allowed to film there. But I’ve been there and some people just did it. I’ve seen a few video’s of the underground part with the papal tombs but not of this quality
@Onno thank you for that info. I was not aware. I found a great interactive map for the vatican that includes great pictures, but these videos are so good I thought that would be nice to see as well. Wish I could go some day.
Anyone knows the meaning of the inscription on the floor at 24:31 "Johannes PAVLVS II P.M. A XXI; MCMXCVIII"; not sure what the XXI or the year 1998 means. Any Ideas?
