What changes have you noticed from your Schuyler Bibles?

We have 3 black cats. We had one when we moved from Hawaii then my son wanted a black kitten from Petland so we got it for him. Then a few months later my daughter and I took a walk and this cat followed us home from uptown.

I usually burn my ribbons at the tip to reduce fray. Worked pretty well so far.

@@catwoods5499 My daughter taped a big long piece of bubble wrap (the little bubbles) to the floor and I ran over it at full speed in my power wheelchair, the sound was wowing. 😁

Would you go with the PSQ or PSC? I’ve been wanting the PSQ but now I’m not so sure. The PSC looks great too.
It depends on the translation really. If you want KJV PSC but all others PSQ

Berisfords is the company that manufacture the double satin ribbons. How did you glue in new ribbons, the original ribbon appear to be glued along the spine of the paper block and under the head band.

You can add a edge line to the cover. That's nothing.

Yes in the early edition they had a leather cover goatskin or calfskin with also a leather liner too. They kept the description the same of their Bibles but there is only a leather cover without the leather liner. And the cost is higher for poor quality control and less the materials
liner is a different kind of leather
Always different from the cover and different from the older thicker version too
Great video thanks! I just received mine and the cover is much grayer than yours, almost blue, I'm not really lovin it as it has a fake leather look to it.
Each leather is absolutely going to be different. But I have also noticed a significant change in the quality of the leather cover & liner they are using. Which is disappointing because the prices no longer reflect the quality
@@catwoods5499 I'll keep it, but I've learned that if Schuyler makes a bible in the color, translation ect. that you like, grab it because that particular mix may never be available again. God bless.

It's only sold at evangelicalbible.com be sure to let them know you seen my review. I told me my channel it not important to their company any more because they want new eyes 🥺 so maybe if people start saying hey it's cat reviews and videos where we see these Bibles from it will than help me. Other's wise I've giving them free advertisement not even for a thank you back.

Idk I don't have a clarion. But I would always pick any Double Column over a Single Column in the end
I have one of these, and your art gilt looks much more consistent than mine. On mine, there are a couple of sections of about 1/4 inch that have heavy gilt, with the rest being light. I know there is to be expected certain flaws inherent to the "handmade" process, but this inconsistency, where whole sections of signatures receive a heavier gilding, speaks more to an "assembly line" process. I still love this bible, but the gilding is amateurish.

@@catwoods5499 Yeah, i'm about done with buying Schuyler and Cambridge bibles i think. I've received multiple bibles with unacceptable flaws from both, meaning ones that should never have escaped even a cursory glance from a quality-control inspector (had there been one). At least R. L. Allan is upfront and discounts the duds. The true artisans seem to be in the rebinding sphere anyway. They might charge a lot more, but at least you get what you pay for.
