I bought my first sequined coin purse when I was 12-13 , gold one I absolutely fell in love & had to have , that was the first time I’d seen sequins ! I work with them , for crafting, Xmas stockings etc ! I haven’t pushed myself to do a purse like you but I think you’ve convinced me ! The clasps are very hard to find even if you go to Hobby lobby & Joanns, maybe Michaels will have ! Love your tutorial ! Winter will be a good time for me instead of just sitting around , let’s get started !

Depends on the size/weight of the yarn and the clasp. For this one it was around 35-40 rounds.

Would have liked some additional information on how to do this project along with hook size you used. While they are very pretty, for most of us, they are impossible to replicate without a pattern.
