Tim Blake Nelson is a national treasure. I'm disappointed that this movie is not in theaters in my area. I was willing to drive a couple of hours in any direction to see it. Hopefully I'll be able to see it on the big screen before it's streaming. I will make a prediction...and this is just from the trailers...this film will be as iconic as Tombstone and Unforgiven. Hold me to it.
A very excellent film, right up my alley. Minimal cast, minimal set, just acting. I thought that it had the feel of being very authentic in terms of dialogue & costume, and you never get any instances where the score takes over too much or something is off. The fun I had watching this is similar to watching The Head Hunter, just simple film making that doesn’t feel simple at all. Stripped down to the essentials and that’s all we need. TBN puts this film on his back and carries it!
Tim Blake nelson is such a great actor I could watch him in anything but he really shines in this western and the character reminded me of a young will muny
I'll comment because I see no comments. We need more movies like this.. a big part of what movies get wrong is the look of the actors and this man is not the typical actor. A breath of fresh air. I liked him in oh brother where art thou. Bonnie and Clyde didn't look like super models neither did Al Capone..or machine gun Kelly ECT. I like the fact this movie goes against the grain. Do with that what you will..
I will watch it, but yea I thought the same thing especially when he said “we can’t close our borders!” Yes we can close ours borders if need be to save our families! If we had more border control a lot of problems wouldn’t arise!
That was my initial reaction but given his other comments, I believe his "border" comment was more related to international travel and returning to normal, and not fearing covid.
Hopefully he's not another suck up to Hollywood actor. Started sounding like one of the pathetic head up his ass types instead of like the character in the movie.

It is streaming on You Tube. I watched it twice. Very fine.
My feelings exactly.

Great questions by the interviewer. She really prepared for it, and it was very sincerely and professionally engaged by Vecchio Henry.
Saw this movie yesterday. Great movie. Very original. Tim Blake Nelson is perfect for this movie.

Saw the movie the other day. Not a big budget film but totally enjoyable. Top performance by Tim Blake Nelson, as usual.
