I'm still a bit annoyed at that bratty girl who dissed her father when he was just trying to be close and good to her. Now she's acting all embarrassed since her idols are there when she completely said hurtful things to her dad on national TV last time. I can feel (and kinda observe) she hasn't changed a bit.

It's not only the girls fault though and I feel like they didn't adress that properly in her episode. The things she said her dad did, that made her uncomfortable (like being too loud in public, asking her classmates whom she isn't that close to about her, posting embarassing pictures of her on SNS and telling everyone that she started wearing a bra) are really not okay. And even though she had told her father to stop, he still did it, since he didn't seem to understand how that embarassed her (as a shy person myself, I would hate it if someone acted towards me like that father did to her, even though I wouldn't be as rude about it as she is, but I'm also quite a lot older than her and maturity does wonders to your manners). I think those two really need to properly talk about the problem maybe with the help of a third objective person who can help them understand each other better. Hello Counselor could have been the perfect platform for it, but maybe because it's Korea where respect for older people is super important, they kinda missed the point imo...

전혜미 Did you watch the episode with her? I remember clearly that she said, she told her dad to stop, but he didn't. They kinda brushed over it, but she definitely said it. And I'm not saying it isn't her fault. I'm saying it's both their fault. She's a child. The ones who influence children the most are their parents, but some parents don't seem to understand that every child is different and has to be raised different. What she did is wrong, yes, but she's not the only one at fault, and if my comment might have seemed one sided and like it only pointed the blame to the dad, that's only because everyone here already thinks its the girls fault, but no one mentions the wrong doings of the dad.

Her dad is so devoted...Learning songs so that he could be close to the daughter and her acting like a brat! He must feel defeated as a parent knowing someone else means more to her than her family. she needs to realize that family is the people who're there to back her up no matter what happens and as much as she loves BTS, she should put her family first. one day it might be gone and she'll be left with nothing but a bunch of guys she idolizes on screen.

Of course family is important, but that doesn't mean you should just ignore it if they do something to you that makes you uncomfortable. There have been enough examples of people being harrassed and abused by their own family members. You shouldn't love someone just because you're related by blood.
But then again, her father definitely loves her and deserves her love as well, it's just the way he shows his love is kinda problematic...

now that you put it into perspective, the dad seems to be going overboard. she's young and when you are at that age, you need to build up your self esteem and by her dad doing those kind of things, isn't helping her. i think both of them should really have a one on one conversation about this because placing the blame on the girl alone and asking her to change seems a bit hypocritical to me.

It's good that the husband is concerned for his family's health but it wouldn't hurt to eat different kinds of food every once in a while. He should remember that what's important is the proportion of the amount of food like red meat is okay to eat, just with right amount. Same with sashimi, fried chicken and all other food that he deems unhealthy. He needs to remember that the body needs a proper and complete nutrient so just eating vegetable (especially at his age) would make him weak and if he becomes sick, it would be hard to recover for his body since he lacks nutrients. Also, if you are into this lifestyle, you should make the ingredients yourself instead of giving the whole responsibility (like making tofu) to your wife like it was her decision to this change.
