Here's a correction if any of y'all are confused: "Creative differences" is the actual reason why Sony cancelled Genndy Tartakovsky's animated Popeye movie.

Actually this nutshell video I made was not to be taken seriously and it was meant to be a joke cause in all seriousness I'm literally tired of people saying "Oh Sony cancelled Popeye because of The Emoji Movie". That's why I put the actual reason in the video description.

Yeah basically then-Sony Pictures Chairwoman Amy Pascal didn't like Genndy Tartakovsky's take on Popeye. That's how Genndy Tartakovsky left Popeye over creative differences. He was also directing his own idea Can You Imagine? which never came to fruition.
