The 2025 Audi A8 is likely to maintain its status as the brand's full-size sedan with little revisions. Debuting in 2019, the current A8 was redesigned in 2022 during its mid-cycle. To this day, the A8 remains Audi's largest and most luxurious offering. A panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated 22-way front seats, motorized rear sunshades, and a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system are just a few of the luxurious amenities found in the five-passenger cabin. There is just one trim level available for the A8, although it does come with a few high-end luxury options. We expect the A8's current powertrain to remain unchanged. A 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine with light hybrid assistance generates 335 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Standard features include all-wheel drive and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The A8 is supported by an adjustable suspension system. For individuals who are in search of maximum power, the more costly S8 has a 563-horsepower V8 turbo. The EPA has assigned MPG ratings of 19 in the city, 28 on the highway, and 22 combined for the A8. Automatic high beams, blind spot detection, surround vision cameras, and autonomous emergency braking are currently standard on the A8. Among the many driver-assist features available as an add-on are the following: adaptive cruise control with steering assistance, rear automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert, automated parking with remote activation, and road sign recognition. On top of that, it comes with night vision. Since it is a carryover model, the A8 will likely cost slightly more than the present model. The A8's suggested retail price (MSRP) for 2024 is $89,995 (not including delivery). The $5,400 Luxury Package adds most of the options. Competitors of the A8 include full-size luxury sedans like the 7-Series, S-Class, LS, and G90 from Genesis.
