I volunteer at the Sydney Bus Museum! Great collection of buses here too, we even have 2 routemasters!
Lovely collection of old vehicles there. The guys at that museum do a great job. For a long time they’ve been looking for a more suitable local place to display their collection, which can also be more accessible to visitors. They really deserve a helping hand here. I can’t believe there’s nowhere else in Keighley for them.

I work at the London bus museum, cobham Hall done the job for over a year ago now. I usually do condition reports, bus cleaning and curatorial.
The Royals bring back memories from childhood bus rides!!
You need to visit the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum, they have a running weekend in August and there is a lot of the old buses out and driving around the area and some are used as free shuttle buses to pick people up from near by towns and bring them along to the museum
Dunfermline to Lathalmond where the museum is. Ive been a few times over the years for my birthday in August. It truly is something special. 1 of the best events by far as things from far & wide come & even First & Stagecoach take things too.

I never knew this was there! I drive for National Express and I often find myself up in Keithley on the way to Skipton / Bingley. I'll definitely have to pop in at some point
@@tucano72 I don't work for them any more, but I do believe that a lot of the routes have changed. Presumably, small stations like those have been neglected because of the lack of demand. Hopefully they're back soon!
Great video. - In Salzburg the centre of the City is all modern single deck trolley buses or hybrids with the diesel motor turned off when in the inner areas.
Fun video. And yes, there is something truly weird about taking a decker into a petrol station...
Nice video Shaun! If you like trolleybuses then go to the north west museum of road transport in St Helens There’s an old St. Helens Corp trolleybus there! I love the old Leyland buses. I also love the Volvo bus that you and your mates own! Keep up the good work Shaun! 👍
I really miss the Royales, used to love going on them! 641 was the last one I went on in normal service, on the 324 route

I especially liked the driver head cam footage. It shows a different aspect of the driving part. Showing where the driver is looking adds to the dynamic of the shot.

I remember that bus that you drove with the stairs leading up to the money box with the railing in the middle
I used to drive these in Glasgow we had a lot of them good vehicles when looked after, some not so good 🙈

That’s mad I used to work at first bus and drove Volvo deckers like his when they were brand new at bramley then worked for black prince and property drove that optare they have.Ive also worked for arriva think I drove CUB 24Y in service...

Is this bus paradise? Please make a bustour with every bus. The old buses are more simple so people will understand why new buses have new features.

Wow, great video! I absolutely love this bus. Been on it when it does the Huddersfield feeder service from Dewsbury Bus Museum. It is great. Will have to try and get to Keighley this year, I've never been to that one. 😊🚌🚌

30821 was that a Halifax bus ?
It was delivered new to Halifax but spent most of its life in Huddersfield
I started at First Bus 2004 and if I remember 30822 I scraped under Copley bridge no one ever knew haha best double decker's Royale

heehean please check out my channel as I have some videos with and without the music. Some like it and so don’t. This video particularly couldn’t have the audio of the bus as there was children laughing. Also me and the driver were talking all the way there 😂😂
