My Cerius might not be hitting for billions of damage yet, but honestly I don't want or need him to. I don't think there's a superboss that clocks in at more than a billion health yet (I might be wrong, haven't fought all of them yet but the hardest ones I've fought so far were a little under a billion), so while that damage is impressive, it's also not necessary. At the same time, they gave us the equipment and characters that could deal that amount of damage, so it's probably only a matter of time until there are bosses that require it. I'd rather have bosses that prioritize good strategy and teambuilding over being damage sponges, but that's a topic for another time. For what I've been using him for, he's been more than sufficient, and I'm not going to turn down someone with access to Barrier Pierce. Plus he likes spicy food, and it's always nice to have a kindred spirit in my party. Also I think there's a more important point to make about his Link Ability: With Aldo, Wryz, and himself, there are only three Arcadia characters in the game. Until they add more (and as of right now where the episode ends, I can only predict two more being added), it's not accessible even if one wanted to make use of it.

About his link ability - you’re right, but even when the full suite of Arcadia characters become available, that link may not be that important unless for some reason you desperately want everyone to use piercing attacks - and it’s also limiting that they all need to be Arcadia characters. Hopefully people will see that using my tips, Cerius can do really well without needing this link ability. That being said I wonder in the future when the other Arcadia characters come out, if they all work together to form some mega stellar attack. I’m curious, what situations do you normally use Cerius for?
@@jrpgwow He was actually pretty important in grinding the AD for Wyrmrest Isle since he's the only easy access I have to Barrier Pierce, meaning he could easily solo the boss at the end. The boss drains your AF bar, even with Aldo's Stellar Awakening maxing it out at the start, so it's far easier to bypass his barriers than to wear him down while dealing with getting knocked back, status ailments, and him marking certain spots for attacks. Besides that, Volley Fire is good for standard mob clearing, but there are other earth or piercing options that can do the same so he's not necessarily unique in those regards. And to answer the more important question, I can make a mean spicy noodle stir-fry that's been a favorite with my family, though I tend to use less hot chilis for them :p
Ah sorry just realised you have Myunfa AC in there already. I also tested Premaya AS instead of Yipha AS. It's much easier with Yipha AS though. The grasta ores also helped
You might not want to use Iphi over there. Use Myunfa's tanking skill and taunt on your tank instead. Use ES Claude or Necoco. Myunfa is close to being as strong as AS Yipha with "please" and her prayer. You are much better off using ES claude or Necoco depending on what you are facing. Claude for more offence, Necoco for def. If you want to keep one non Earth member, try and use boost proficiency on Myunfa. AS premaya could also be used if myunfa is enough tanking for you which she is in 95 percent of all content
So I don't have anyone who can set an earth zone via skills, I just have the VC setters. Except, apparently Myrus' True manifest unlocked turns her Beastly Impact skill into an earth zone setter as long as there are 3 other earth personality types in the front line. I have attempted her True Manifest fight 3 times now without success.
@@jrpgwow She has no HP stoppers, you just have to kill her 3 times and the fight is over. I need to switch around my grasta setup, but a Sesta team can do it. I've seen it. My problem is being able to kill her before the awakened wind stance runs out while surviving her and her brother's attacks.
I still can't find him, but after Melina NS and Yipha NS (I'm more light for AS) and I doubt I can build a good team for him I only sell Yipha AS If I were to find it
Earth zone setters and other piercing units may also be good with him. When the new Arcadia characters come out, they may also be good with him. I’ve tested him with Iphi and Premaya AS and they can support him pretty well also
I'll test him against a newer one for you when I reach it. It also depends on the superboss and what their weaknesses are. I tried him against the Uquaji trio and Yakumo is much better against them than he is as they are resistant to him.
A little bit disappointed with his pierce barrier limited to only 3 moves considering its a siege "mode", Sesta and Alma be laughing at the corner😂. Sadly I don't have any good team for him yet.
Right? At the moment I feel like a lot needs to be in place for him to be impressive - that being said if all you use is Volley Fire he should be in a constant state of Seige Mode.

Nice video :) shame i don't have yipha AS ... my current line up are Parisa AS / Iphi / Myunfa AC / Cerius ... dealing 1 - 1.5b damage per volley

You might not want to use Iphi over there.
Use Myunfa's tanking skill and taunt on your tank instead. Use ES Claude or Necoco.

Not sure, I know you can get him to 100 - 150 Million in the first turn. I'll have to get him to level 100 (at level 99) and finish his quest@@jrpgwow

Myrus TM fight is surprisingly hard. I’ve forgotten about it - this is a reminder for me to have a go again!
