- Someone at my favorite jam said that there are lyrics written for this tune, so I may eventually work those up, haha. Still playing around with camera stuff. Open to feedback! :)

Awesome man! I am fairly new to clawhammer too, but play other instruments. I have bee fully immersed for about 8 months and it has renewed my passion
I've been playing guitar for years (among other instruments). Sang and played different instruments in many different bands for a long time, but I've always felt a calling to pick up the banjo. For reasons, I just never did. Didn't have time and never knew anybody who played it. Due to recent unfortunate circumstances, I now have a lot more time on my hands... so I've decided to finally go for it.
I'm about to purchase my first banjo soon, probably sometime this week. I'm crazy pumped and excited. Been practicing some rolls on guitar for a while now, but I can't exactly practice drop thumb and hum ditty stuff without the proper high G and feel of a 5 string, I don't wanna fall into too many bad habits. However learning and practicing the rolls over the past month have already helped my guitar playing tremendously. It's opened opportunities by breathing new life into many of my old songs. I can't wait to relearn a lot of the old songs I've written on guitar, on a banjo. Watching videos of folks playing banjo with similar sounds and styles to my music is motivating the hell outta me. I can't wait to jump on the instrument. Thanks for sharing everything that you do and keep it up, I appreciate it.
I also played guitar and several stringed instruments before picking up the banjo 5 years ago. I have to say that when it comes to the banjo, I just love it in a way that I've never loved any other instrument. It has been incredibly rewarding diving into as much as I have, and I feel like I'm just getting started on my journey with it!
I'm really happy to have played a small part in your freshly beginning banjo story, and I really hope that you're able to get a similar joy out of banjo! Thank you for sharing your story! :)
