After operation, I not just survived but now thrive, thx to the viewer who gave Cheveyo $25 to save his life , lady and mother you are just a pure angel 😇.. God bless....
I have had hundreds of skin cancers burnt off (not exaggerating)and at least 9 removed in surgery. It catches up on pale skin later in life. Wear a brimmed hat not a baseball cap like i used to.
Tia , is one of the quiet angels on our planet, a beautiful nature and undying love for Cheveyo.. He's also an amazing patient loving man .. They are like my sister and brother in law , born to be with each other, God bless them

Hi Stella , soo with you , 1981 Ozone hotel in Queenscliff first caught them , sound of our land , lyrics for ages and always on my immediate play list.. ! ❤from Melbourne

(The Song Formerly Known As) by Regurgitator, Holy Grail by Hunters and Collectors and Tainted Love (cover) by The Living End. I couldn't just stick to one...

Aussie Music Drive List: Australian Crawl - Daughters of the Northern Coast Stevie Wright - Black Eyed Bruiser John Farnham - A Touch of Paradise Jimmy Barnes - Driving Wheels Black Sorrows - Chained to the Wheel Christine Anu - My Island Home Baker Boy - Marryuna Bernard Fanning - Songbird Pete Murray - Better Days Paul Kelly - Dumb Things I know you asked for only one, but it's a long trip.
Yay ... you have a hat and it looks brilliant on you. Now please 'both' of you keep those hats on those heads of yours, even when you think you don't need them. We'd like to continue to see your protected heads for a long time to come.
Pineapple on pizza is the right thing to do in this world. For songs on a road trip to add to the mix is Goanna's 'Solid Rock' and Icehouse's 'Great Southern Land' and although they're iconic, which you've probably listened to, I'd recommend Jimmy Barnes 'Driving Wheel' I think it's called
A great song for travelling and also appropriate is 'Great Southern Land' by Icehouse, it's from the 80's but I am old. Also on TH-cam watch a video of Australian scenery with this song playing, it was posted by Raffaelebydesign back in 2011.
Hey Chev, melanoma sneaks up on one, I lost an eyelid, tips of ears, had my nose layed open, throat chopped, back and chest cut, all from years of surfing, stay safe young man, they don't come out until after 40 and you will be a father then.
1. Pineapple on vegetarian pizza for me, spices are good. 2. Fave song… Let it be (The Beatles). Fave Aussie song … Silvery Moon (Sherbet). Fave weird Aussie song The redback on the toilet seat (Slim Newton).
Some great options for Tia’s next post card in this video - I especially loved 6:12 overhead shot of the contrasting sea and land 13:50 camel sunset silhouettes
I'm showing my age now but one of my favourite driving songs is The Eagles.. Take it to the limit. (for those who don't know it has that line .. "so put me on a highway..and show me a sign.. and take it to the limit one more time"). Great to see the videos of Broome.
*THAT COLOR* impact of turquoise ocean, white beach, and red earth has stayed with me ever since I visited Broome. Along with the huge tidal rises, and scorching days cooled by big, tropical thunderstorms in the afternoon.
"Great southern land" is definitely your song by Icehouse. Pineapple on pizza is a must in Australia, generally called a 'Hawaiian Pizza'. Only once i asked for a Hawaiian pizza in Hawaii........ The woman just looked at me and said they're all Hawaiian here
Fellow pineapple Psycho here to say a pizza isn’t pizza without pineapple. Also thanks for the dose of positivity, warmth and general goodness that life has to offer. I guess I’m going to visit Broome now. ❤
For Tia…my fav song that means so much to me and explains my social anxieties panics, is from an Aussie band called Boy and Bear - Stange World. There is a line in the song….‘Life isn't always a song but you dance‘ so true. Enjoy ❤️ Olly
@@jamesrobinson4429 I like pineapple on burgers too and Chinese sweet and sour. pineapple adds zest to the meaty flavors. Its where some folks get confused with pizza. Pineapple dont fare well with marinara or basic cheese pizza though.
Team pineapple all the way! A great sing along driving song is ‘it’s nice to be alive’ by Ball Park Music, kinda apt when you’re out seeing the sights 🙂
We made it through to Broome last year just before the bridge at Fitzroy Crossing got washed out unfortuantely you guys were too late and had to turn back. I took my wife on a date night in Broome to the Sun Picture Show we sat outddors on deck chairs watching the John Farnham doco with a choc top (ice cream) in one and a beer in the other - great experience you should have treated yourselves. The other end of the Gibb River road is Wyndham we went there but like you guys we decided not to risk dragging our caravan that way especially with all the rain they were having at the time. The best Pizza I had was while watching the sunset from Xanders on Cable Beach - fresh chilli prawns, Napoli sauce , mozzarella, thyme, cherry tomatoes and rocket excellent.
Love your work, never thought just watching 2 people go about daily duties and expeditions through some absolutely unique landscape and colours would be this entertaining. Love the sense of humour and your obvious appreciation. My song choices is iconic Great Southern Land by Icehouse and Sounds of Then, (This is Australia) by Gang ajang.
Absolutely agree. I would add Highway Star (Deep Purple), seeing as I’m an “old fart”. Just be careful of the speed limit when driving while listening to Highway Star. Just a tip: maybe Cheveyo should drive for that one.😅
My favourite Aussie expression is “Blind Freddie”. We evoke Blind Freddie when exasperated at how nobody ( except us) can appreciate the extremely obvious.
Wow, I never knew that was an actual expression. The only time I've ever heard anyone mention 'blind Freddie' was in the early 80's song "You Weren't In Love with Me" by Billy Field. I assumed he was a real person the songwriter knew. I guess I just never hung around with people that used the phrase. It certainly gives the song more context now; today I learned!
Don't apologise for your decision; it was the best one for you at this time. Look at it this way; it means you have a reason to make a future trip to Australia to fill in the gaps you skipped for for a variety of reasons and there will be many Aussies who will be happy to give you suggestions of places you have not yet explored. Hi guys I'm Vaughan from Australia I never travelled my own country so I thank you guys for showing how wonderful my own country is I look forward to your videos.
That place in hell for pineapple pizza eaters also hosts people who have a pineapple on their burger. :-) But, a true Aussie Burger includes a fried runny egg and fried onion. US burgers are so, so, boring :-)
@@davidlecomte6893 I'll see you in hell and we'll have an Aussie burger with the lot that includes egg pineapple, beetroot, onion (fried), lettuce..etc.
Beautiful videography & editing. We are new followers on this leg of your journey. My favourite song at the moment is Exploding by Angie McMahon - the entire album honestly. A Melbourne artist. Happy travels - Bon
Loving the vids guys! Love the attention put into being sun aware / safe, keep up the hard yacka. As for music, Greta Van fleet, Light my love, or Autoheart, Moscow. Both have been my go to lately!
If I was driving through Western Australia, one road trip tune that would blow out the cobwebs would be Just Like Fire Would by The Saints off their album All Fools Day. It's been a while since I've done a really big drive, and I'm pretty envious!
Play list: 1. Cold Play, Yellow - Look at the stars. Went on a 4WD road trip through the Kimberlies with friends and we sang this most nights because the stars were magnificent. Every time I hear it now the tears well up. 2. Slim Dusty , I love my truck. Mazda will love it - this was our morning song and the kids loved it so much they would dance around in the dirt and sing at the top of their voices. There is an Ok version bu Glen Campbell too but Slim is our legend
Best video ever! Now you are in crocodile territory: 1. Always seek the advice of locals and then 2. Ignore it. Locals will downplay croc risk to avoid hurting their tourism industry - your Litchfield example a case in point. A million busloads of European backpackers have been taken to that spot and being told it’s safe to swim.
Cheveyo the hat , champion ! Melanoma survived here , Aussie sun's worse than snakes n crokkafellas . Pineapple has only one place , that's ontop of pizzas . Sweet , sour , salty , spicy that's the key . The best song for you , your sponsor and channel is - Tracy Chapman.. "fast car "" ..tottally the song..
It’s a shame you didn’t visit Lombadina and Cape Leveaque. There’s a church that’s decorated in mother of pearl shell. Loved the video. Brings back memories of my time there. You can’t beat the colour contrast between the blue of the ocean and the red pindan dirt. Stay safe n keep up the good work.👍🏼
Should you find yourselves in Far North Queensland come visit us in Atherton. We have some beautiful views. One may be one of the most surprising places you get a great view is behind the Mobil gas station. Also you haven't seen red dirt yet. You may just see a cassowary on the Gillies Range. I moved from California to Australia in 2015. I haven't regretted it all.
CHEVEYO! I'm the person with trypophobia that you just horrified with that blooper reel. Such an awesome video, right up until that moment OH I did not need to see that today 😭😭🫣😅
In this vid, can feel that during your time in Australia you're absorbing the Aussie vibe. Not just a tourist thing of relaxing, but something deeper 🦘 Enjoy ❤
Some fun facts - If you google searched Broome Chinatown History it goes way back to the 19th century when the Asian (and European) pearl divers/traders came down and integrated with the locals creating a rich & unique blended cultural history. Chinatown is a heritage listed area and much of the original buildings still stand, including Sun Pictures, the oldest operating picture gardens in the world which opened in 1916. I lived and worked in Broome some +20yrs ago before moving back to Perth due to kids schooling needs. It appears to have got a lot busier with tourists these days
You both keep me optimistic that there are not only amazing places to explore, but equally genuinely sweet, positive people in the world. I’m thoroughly enjoying following your wonderful adventures, now in places in my own country that seem alien and distant.
I towed my caravan across the Gibb River Rd. Admittedly it was a bit bent over the axles at the other end (and the ends were no longer square), but it was still worth it.
You guys seem really relaxed for this video - looks like Broome time was rubbing off on you, lol. Once again, loved watching you do your thing. How beautiful is Western Australia!
Did the Gibb River road in 1982 in a Holden Commodore sedan. Mostly at night as a long bushfire front was bearing down on us from the south. Wish we could have seen more of the sights along the way. The corrugations were atrocious at the time.
Music for your road trip playlist, Mishka - Coastline Journey Xavier Rudd - Follow the Sun, We Deserve to Dream, Messages Powderfinger - My Happiness - Waiting for the Sun - These Days - Love Your Way Exitmusic - The Cold Tame Impala - The Less I know The Better. I grew up in Australia (80s kid) and now live in Florida. I have a little insight into PIZZA ... Generally an Aussie kids go to pizza would be Ham and Pineapple. While I think USA Kids would go for pepperoni so the Aussie palette might be a little skewed towards liking pineapple 🍍😋
Those camels and the sunset.. fantastic shots team.. here are some great travel songs .. silverchair - straight lines, Powderfinger - These Days, . And nick cave and the bad seeds - red right hand .. some other cool Aussie bands to check out 😊
I like Cheveyo's hat. The camel sunset was absolutely gorgeous. Tia's pizza works for me. I like pineapple on pizza. When the war is over by Cold Chisel has always been my favourite song and their song Khe Sanh is an iconic Australia song.
Going North by Missy Higgins and anything by Paul Kelly (40 miles to Saturday night is quite appropriate :-) You could also check out the movie Bran New Dae, a quirky flick from 2009 filmed in many of the locations you have just been, lots of good tunes in there also. Keep having fun 😊
Never ever stop the "big" things Tia 😉 Cheveyo... Your Aussie accent is actually really good (and hilariously funny) 🤣 Oh and eating a meat pie with a knife and fork will get you deported in Aussie... Crikey.!!!!!!

Under the Milky Way by The Church for your playlist plus Wide Open Road by the Triffids.yes I know that’s two.
Under the Milky Way by The Church is best to play while stargazing at night especially in the outback where the night sky is so clear.

Powderfingers’ “Sunsets” would seem appropriate for your love of a good sunset 🌅 Has a noice crescendo for the drive as well. Stay safe. 😊

Hi guys I'm Vaughan from Australia I never travelled my own country so I thank you guys for showing how wonderful my own country is I look forward to your videos.
You're in Western Australia so The Triffids 'Wide Open Road' followed by 'Bury me deep in Love'
Wide Open Road is a beautiful song, especially road tripping. 'Stolen Property' is my second fav of theirs
And “the seabirds”
Pineapple on Pizza?…………Absolutely!
Guys, we put pineapple on Pizza's and Hamburgers....yummm!
No..not hamburgers..:)
@@janeabbotts Oooh yeah! Here in Vic, a traditional burger with the lot has both pineapple and beetroot 😋
That place in hell for pineapple pizza eaters also hosts people who have a pineapple on their burger. :-)
But, a true Aussie Burger includes a fried runny egg and fried onion.
US burgers are so, so, boring :-)
@@davidlecomte6893 I'll see you in hell and we'll have an Aussie burger with the lot that includes egg pineapple, beetroot, onion (fried), lettuce..etc.
Don't forget the beetroot on a burger
Beautiful videography & editing. We are new followers on this leg of your journey.
My favourite song at the moment is Exploding by Angie McMahon - the entire album honestly. A Melbourne artist. Happy travels - Bon
Absolutely Everybody wins for my favourite Aussie song because you can’t sit still, you have to move, or at least wriggle in your seat!
Vanessa. Amorosi - best song ever.
@@preciouswhittaker5040 Agreed!
here to us. hope you guys enjoyed it.
Sunsets by Powderfinger, in fact nearly any song by Powderfinger
Loving the vids guys! Love the attention put into being sun aware / safe, keep up the hard yacka. As for music, Greta Van fleet, Light my love, or Autoheart, Moscow. Both have been my go to lately!
If I was driving through Western Australia, one road trip tune that would blow out the cobwebs would be Just Like Fire Would by The Saints off their album All Fools Day. It's been a while since I've done a really big drive, and I'm pretty envious!
Play list:
Now you are in crocodile territory:
1. Always seek the advice of locals and then
2. Ignore it. Locals will downplay croc risk to avoid hurting their tourism industry - your Litchfield example a case in point. A million busloads of European backpackers have been taken to that spot and being told it’s safe to swim.
Great decision getting a hat Cheveyo. Check out how much shade you get on your face in this video. Keep it up.
Stay safe n keep up the good work.👍🏼
Song by Men at Work. Land Down Under
OMG how Red is THAT at 6:08 I'm Aussie, I've been to the Red Centre, but I've never seen dirt THAT red! I love it!
I highly recommend "One Summer" & "As the days go by" by Daryl Braithwaite (Aussie Music Legend) and "AA" by Walker Hayes for your play list 😊
About to eat pizza for lunch on the east coast while watching people eat pizza on the west coast. Perfect timing!
I towed my caravan across the Gibb River Rd. Admittedly it was a bit bent over the axles at the other end (and the ends were no longer square), but it was still worth it.
Pineapple and Anchovies on Pizza are a must Cheveyo. Tia has it right.
You guys seem really relaxed for this video - looks like Broome time was rubbing off on you, lol. Once again, loved watching you do your thing. How beautiful is Western Australia!
Born To Be Wild
Did the Gibb River road in 1982 in a Holden Commodore sedan. Mostly at night as a long bushfire front was bearing down on us from the south. Wish we could have seen more of the sights along the way. The corrugations were atrocious at the time.
All the ABBA songs baby! Yeah 🤙
Music for your road trip playlist,
Mishka - Coastline Journey
Xavier Rudd - Follow the Sun, We Deserve to Dream, Messages
Powderfinger - My Happiness - Waiting for the Sun - These Days - Love Your Way
Exitmusic - The Cold
Tame Impala - The Less I know The Better.
Bernard Fanning - Songbird
Love watching you guys Australian Adventure👍
I grew up in Australia (80s kid) and now live in Florida. I have a little insight into PIZZA ... Generally an Aussie kids go to pizza would be Ham and Pineapple. While I think USA Kids would go for pepperoni so the Aussie palette might be a little skewed towards liking pineapple 🍍😋
Those camels and the sunset.. fantastic shots team.. here are some great travel songs .. silverchair - straight lines, Powderfinger - These Days, . And nick cave and the bad seeds - red right hand .. some other cool Aussie bands to check out 😊
Pineapple works, but chilli and olive smash. Comfortably numb - Pink Floyd
I like Cheveyo's hat. The camel sunset was absolutely gorgeous. Tia's pizza works for me. I like pineapple on pizza. When the war is over by Cold Chisel has always been my favourite song and their song Khe Sanh is an iconic Australia song.
I cannot believe some of the people on that camel ride were actually on their phones. Wow.
Fooor Reaaal ?
Going North by Missy Higgins and anything by Paul Kelly (40 miles to Saturday night is quite appropriate :-)
You could also check out the movie Bran New Dae, a quirky flick from 2009 filmed in many of the locations you have just been, lots of good tunes in there also. Keep having fun 😊
Never ever stop the "big" things Tia 😉
Cheveyo... Your Aussie accent is actually really good (and hilariously funny) 🤣
Oh and eating a meat pie with a knife and fork will get you deported in Aussie...
Crikey.!!!!!!
Songs for your playlist!
Phantom - Tycho
Wait on You - Washed Out
Back to You - St. Lucia
Rabbit Run - City Calm Down (Aussie band from Melbourne!)
