For me the RAW update wasn't about sharpness - especially since you almost always have to apply some sort of noise reduction to it in Post, which by nature will make your image a little softer. But it is about that 12bit color and just how much more detail you can pull out. I've also noticed that RAW gives better overall skin tones in mixed light situations, and using RAW LT in 60fps gives you an equivalent option to the All-I shooting mode that typically gets limited to 30fps. Now, anytime I have project critical shots in 60 or am shooting people in a run and gun scenario, I'm shooting in RAW LT 60, but for the smaller stuff the xavc long gop is much less data hungry and still easy enough to work with. It's all about those skin tones though.
Right. My video didn’t do the C70 RAW justice because the scene wasn’t that challenging. There’s definitely a difference in color depth and quality once you start pushing the colors.
Would have like to see some closeup shots so I can get a good look at the eyes, my old eyes couldn't really tell at this zoom range
Good video. I see the Raw LT and ALL-I XFAVC are not much different.

Good review.
