There are a few men who without them the world would be significantly different. Churchill is one of those men. Churchill rejected it and led a coup against Chamberlain that led to him becoming prime minister. The strange thing is that a small sector of Poland was Churchill’s excuse for declaring war, while Stalin took over all of Poland after the war without Churchill seeing any problem with that. Poland was just a fake excuse.
Churchill was a Great War Leader, but in Peace he failed, and made mistakes. So he was voted out. During his life He made great mistakes, Gallipoli was the greatest and he lost 30,000 men because of it. Unfortunately like all great men he tried to justify his actions but Gallipoli followed him to his death. In many ways his heritage, birth and ancestry made him who he was. I think he was a throw back to his warrior ancestors. Which made him perfect as a war leader, but not so great in civilian life.

Nice documentary, but you really fail to tell both sides of the story as well aq the controverse around this man. A documentarh is supposed to be more or less neutral and objectively. This 51 minute film is simply a hymn about how great a person he was, it lacks depth
Sir, study the history surrounding the event, the Bengal famine. Churchill could not help the Indian people of that area. As he said, "I am fighting in the North Atlantic for our life". I need all vessels at war against the wolf packs of Germany. He could allow ships laden with rice for the Indian people might well of landed in Japanese hands.
