Lions are part of the family community of Detroit. Right after game Jamison Williams & Kirby Joseph went out same night and handed out Turkeys to families & kids in the community. One Pride!
As a Lions fan, this is a fair and measured take. My mindset as a fan is still we gotta prove it for the rest of the season and the postseason. Being crowned the “best team” by public opinion doesn’t really mean anything, especially before Thanksgiving. I won’t say we’re the best team until we get to that SB. Nothing wrong with that at all.
@@michaelmcknight9404 They beat then unbeaten 5-0 Min 31-29 on Oct 20 at Minnesota. They beat 6-2 GB 24-14 on Nov 3 at Green Bay. How can someone be so very wrong when the correct information is right there to check out?
They are 9-1 and on an 8 game winning streak. Tied for the best record in the league. They have put up 52 in each of their last 2 home games. They have won despite trailing 23-7 at the half and Goff throwing 5 ints through 3 quarters. They beat unbeaten Minnesota with a late FG. Since losing their best defensive player, Adrian Hutchinson for the season vs Dallas they have followed that game by allowing 29, 14, 14, 23, and 6 points in those 5 games (While scoring 31, 52, 24, 26, and 52 points in those 5 games). They have the top scoring offense and the 5th best scoring defense in the league. Their QB has FOUR games with a passer rating of 140+ through 10 games. This ties an NFL record for games with 140+ rating over an entire season. And they still have 7 games to play. They are 5-0 on the road this season. They are 23-7 (including playoffs) since the start of last season. While all this does not guarantee they will win the SB, they are BY FAR the best team in the league right now. It isn't even close. Kevin doesn't have a clue.
Don’t forget going to Houston, after the Texans come off a bye week, survive a horrible first half and come from behind to win a huge game. Of their 5 road wins, 4 are against teams with winning records (Cardinals and Texans lead their divisions, Vikings tied for second best record in NFC, and the Packers at Mighty Lambeau). Have NUMEROUS key defensive players injured. And Goff is just the efficient engine to a very powerful offensive machine (oh and Sam LaPorta has been hurt off and on so his numbers are way down from last year). Let the disrespect keep coming. Let the league and the networks keep hoping for an east coast darling to compete. Detroit vs Everybody isn’t just a saying. The receipts are being kept and payback will happen in February
BTW, look at that Houston game. Look how the Lions stayed composed and didn’t point fingers or internally combust. Look how they don’t take stupid penalties or make stupid mistakes. THAT, the team mentality that Dan Campbell has implemented, is what makes the difference
If we don't win the SB after doing all of this in the regular season. That would be very embarrassing and getting to the SB and then lose that would b going back to last year
I've been screaming this for a while. Glad I'm not the only one. Took her three years to undo the emotional damage the rest of her family put on us for over half a century.
Shelia gets it. I think Martha sorta did too, but got bad advice from on BQ. WCF was always in over his head and it’s nice to see Shelia using her privilege humbly and making the most of her shot. She’s a Michigan treasure and WCF should be referred to as “Shelia’s dad”.
Buffalo is the only team left on their schedule that could remotely have a chance of beating Detroit that's it. Detroit will have to beat themselves for all the others on their schedule. This Lions team isn't just winning in the last 8 games they are making statements. Houston's defensive team speed was disruptive for the Lions I will give Houston their credit, if a team has that type of defensive speed they got a chance. Coach Ryan's got the foundation down there. By the time Detroit gets to San Francisco they probably will have the #1 seed wrapped up and if they don't they will do what they do Xtra motivation for that game just like the Dallas game. Psychologically the San Francisco game is extremely important for Detroit they need to show themselves they can beat them. If they do that they are going to get to the Superbowl.
I liked the first part, he is absolutely correct, this is the NFL. The very top level. If you can't stop a team from beating you 52-6, thats a you problem. If you want to watch a sport where you make sure no one has their feelings hurt, watch baseball.
What if after the Lions win the Superbowl Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn stay yet ANOTHER YEAR TO RUN IT BACK 💪🫳🎤 this would no doubt upset a lot of these major media outlet analysts and some fans 😢😮😅😊... GREAT NEWS 👍
If the Gm Brad Holmes and coach Dan Campbell continue on the road they are on and building the team as they have we’re hoping to be good for along time.

Beat Minnesota at their house. Beat Green Bay at their house. Don’t mention those teams.

They've yet to play Green Bay and Minnesota? We beat both of them at their house already. Is Kev ok?
theyve beat both on the road....not this year

Great segment with Kevin Harlan. He is gold! Most exciting voice of the NFL! Thanks.
Aside from some profoundly dumb takes just now.....yeah, he is....and yeah, he does
The key to the Lions turnaround? It's Sheila.
It makes more sense that it starts with her when you look at Washington, new ownership and the whole place flips over.
💯

The question, "are the Lions the best team in the NFL?". The answer, right now, yes...
SAY IT KEV. Lions are the best team in the league. Don't be afraid, plenty of room on this train.
Kevin has seen it all. I think he had to talk a bit more "professional". He couldn't really get on the bandwagon because of who he is.
