Making A Wood Handle For A Sledge Hammer

I hope you enjoy my first TH-cam video. .
I bought a sledge hammer without a handle at a yard sale. In this video I go through the process of cleaning the metal and making a wood handle from hickory.

Good job man. I like that traditional approach. Most people would not think to make their own handle. It's nice to see it done. And yours is probably way better quality than what can be bought in a store.

Don't need a handle to bust that lite weight block. A framing hammer can do more damage than what you did.
