You know the Dominator may have all of the accolades and Martin Brodeur and Patrick Roy may also be highly ranked, but for my money, when Ed Belfour stood on his head and stopped 90+ shots, into double OT, for like three games in a row against the RedWings, during their playoff series in the late 90s, even though Chicago ended up losing, that was still the best PERFORMANCE I've ever seen from a goalie in my lifetime... You can't really compare the goalies of today to the guys of yesteryear who stood in front of the park without pads, and obviously I still go with Roy/Brodeur when I think about who the best was, I'm sure that's up for debate, Hassik is definitely a consideration... but for simple AMAZEMENT and best PERFORMANCE I've ever seen, Eddie B takes the Cake...HANDS DOWN!!!
That sucks about the creases. Can't really see it on video. I like opening boxes like you. It's fun. Love those holo's!! And anything the Great One. Thanks for the vidro.
Thank you. Yeah I had an issue with the crease as well in a Basketball box I opened. Someone said if they were stored for a long time stacked on top one another that the dimples from the pack on top can transfer too the cards if someone put too many boxes on top of each other.
Awesome break ! Lots of great cards ! Not sure about other years , but from personal experience , the Upper Deck 90-91 , 91-92 hockey packs are notorious for those creases 😐. I have a feeling it has more to do with the sealing process than how the box is stored.
o-pee-chee made sets in 74,75,76, and 77, with a dozen or so WHA stars in their 72 set. Gordie Howe (and sons) Bobby Hull and a few other ex NHLers are the big draws.
As @artvandelay1967 mentioned OPC had cards for those years. Also some oddball sets out there (73-74 Quaker Oats and some team issue and postcards for 72.
I just opened 4 boxes of 1991-92 score series two and every pack the top couple cards had a line from top to bottom.all 4 boxes .between that and the gloss cards not being properly stored .I have a feeling in another ten years the graded 10 cards might not be as many as thought there would be.I’ve bought about 30 boxes of different junk wax hockey product .1990-96 for the purpose of grading for my pc..I’ll let you know how good or bad the product turns out..I already know that the 1991-92 opc red army cards are pretty trash because of the gum .so then numbers will definitely stay on the low side
Yeah. Parallels make it fun for sure. I have some mid to late 90s baseball boxes that I want to open so I might switch it up here and go after some parallels.
@@JunkWaxInvestor I mean, all your videos are great and everything but just think about how boring it is for you opening up those packs and getting the same cards over and over again and you're at least having the fun of ripping them, watching it can be a little tedious... Just a heads up, I'm sure you'll get a bunch of other people telling me I'm wrong, that's totally okay, everyone's allowed in opinion... Just like our assholes...
@@guywilliams6569 Yeah. I think I might do a case at a time but just go warp speed and show a summary of what I pulled from the whole case. But I will video in case I hit the Auto because need to catch that or no one would believe me!
Haha. It would be an emotional experience. Here is a question. I have 2 cases of score with the Bobby Orr chase. Should I just rip them all and video it and only upload a video if I hit the auto or keep uploading one at a time over time. I just don't know how many videos of 1991 Score people will watch lol.
@@JunkWaxInvestor considering it's not really an exciting break for anything other than if you get the autograph, I would just do it all in one shot, I don't think the multiple video format would be a good one, because it would just be so boring anything other than the hit wouldn't be interesting.. you could however, just send me one of the cases and I'll let you know what I find :-)
I absolutely love this year of Upper Deck. Junk wax forever.
Amen!
So,so many team cards.doubles within packs.
You got Jeff Lazaro who grew up in my hometown of Waltham MA. I actually played against him a couple of times in Street hockey.
That is awesome! Love the hometown hero type stories. Always cool when you have a personal connection to a player.
Junk wax breaks are the best bang for your buck! Love your content---always a thumbs up from this sub!
Thank you very much! I agree with your bang for the buck comment. Can't go wrong with it and you don't feel too bad if you don't hit a big card.
I think I've opened more of these packs then your videos I've watched lol ;) Another great video my friend!
Thank you!

Definitely wins in the exciting highlight reel category. Fun watching TH-cam video highlights of those old games.

Awesome break! Was so hoping you were going to pull the auto! That Mario and George Bush card is actually pretty cool. Another great video!
Thanks! That is a cool card. One that I am sure I didn't have before.
I'll never forget the actual footage of that visit to the White House, where George Bush asked Mario Lemieux who he was. Americans do love hockey.

Could be. I have had the same issue in Upper Deck Basketball as well.
What do you think the chances all of the Hull autos are pulled? Same with the Cup hologram in pro set
You have better luck than me on those holograms. I get Dirk Graham almost every time. :P
lol. Sucks that they are at the back of the pack though. Surface damage every time.
great rip. i have a box of this also
This is a fun one. Love this set and 90-91 Upper Deck as well. So many HOFers and star players.
and the year before also
I would have had a heart attack if I saw you pull an autonoutof these but still a fun rip!!
haha. Me too probably.
Were there any WHA cards, and who made them?

awesome! Thank you for tuning in!
such a garbage set put out. what are these cards worth now? a can of pepsi?
