He wasn't uncomfortable and that shed was sooooo ready to come off it was practically falling off, he even kissed you twice❤️❤️he's still a baby so ya gotta do stuff sometimes that the lil brats don't wanna stay still for that's for their own good, health and well being cuz I've got a friend who's dragon he rescued is going through hell and came close to losing an arm cuz of an irresponsible owner that didn't help with stuck shed so super awesome job helping your baby shed so they don't suffer, I wish all beardie parents were like you🥰🥰🥰

As you can tell from the video, the shedding process had already begun before the person assisted with shedding. Shed that isn't ready to come off and is forcibly removed will have a sticky residue beneath along with irritated skin. This Bearded Dragon is just fine. People often assist shed because they don't want the animal to miss any pieces of stuck shed. For example, shed around the toes if left unattended can cut-off the circulation of blood. Stuck shed around the eyes can be removed the animal itself, but people often do it to prevent self harm like scratching of the eye.

Exactly. When you peel off the shedding when it’s not ready, you can risk peeling off the bearded dragons scales with it
I have a bearded dragon. You aren't supposed to help him with his shed. Use hot baths or certain vitamins to assist him with removing his shed.
