I have a similar model and mine is also just as weird with its steering. You get used to it. Tires wear is normal too.

Marko Radić I’m interested too. As far as I heard, very reliable. Very economical, very cheap to buy. If you want a bit more power out of the D16V1 engine that is in the car, you can fit the intake manifold, rockers and camshaft from a D16Y8 engine and get about 140 hp. With full exhaust, stage 1 camshaft, head porting and raised compression, you could hit 170 hp.

Does this 1.6 model have that vtec "kick in" effect? If it does i can't hear it here
No, the D16 engine is VTEC-E, crossover from low rpm 'economy cam' is approx 2,3k rpm, there is no 'vtec-yo' on this engine, response and economy are made worse if the inlet resonater is removed, the engine is not easily tuned without changing cams and installing a piggyback ecu, some people in the UK found Asian market heads for compatible D17 engines with a larger throttle body etc.
This generation of civic havent got vtec, except for the type-r. 1.4 90hp and 1.6 110hp are not vtec engines.
1,6 has a Rev counter till 6 and half thousands, on video we can se Rev counter from Type R till 8 thsnd... So is this really 1,6 ?

Why would swap the dash though, the dash is from a ep2 no red logo on wheel.

This is the ep2 LOOK type r. It just has some cosmetics that the type r has compared to the standard version but that's just it.

Why you change gear so early!? You're not using vtech. You need to rev past 5800
Vtec starts at 4,500 on the ep2 sport 1.6 as it redlines at 6,400 the typre r revs way higher so maybe 5,800 for type r
Is the gearbox completely terrible, compared to a gearbox that sits "on the floor"?
Its actually better than when its sits on the floor it looks awkward but once you sit in the car its awesome

Has no torque? Must be v-tec. Only pulls in first two gears? Must be v-tec.
For a 110HP car 152NM torque is pretty okay though.

Oliver Easter Much, much nicer. The 2.0 is a K series, better off getting a Type R for the extra money instead of the Type S.
