Thank you, appreciate the kind words. Yes Gaahleri has been super responsive and says they want to produce world class airbrushes at value pricing….its a win for everyone!
Thanks for your time man, ive been abusing a h&s ultra (old) with a .5 or something for blasting stuff and ive been looking for a detail brush. this looks perfect.
Awesome review! Nice to see an artists opinion of this air brush, I have the Mobius 0.3mm and love it waiting for the 0.2mm to get here. I have pretty much all of Gaahleri's air brushes. Im a model builder and air brush 1:1 here and there. Awesome painting! Subbed!
I recently got the Barbatos Rex Swallowtail model, with the optional fan tip air cap. Mine was perfect out of the box. I also use Iwata and a very vintage Thayer and Chandler AA from the 1950s, originally designed for photo retouching and fine arts. It is getting old, and very difficult to keep running well. I have been reluctant to spend 500plus on a Custom Micron for the few times I need a .2 ( actually .18 or .22 in the top Iwata range) . After experiencing the Swallowtail, I am going to spring for one of these. I had a few questions, and got immediate response from Gaahleri.. Amazing customer support.
Amazing airbrush art! It’s an excellent airbrush that looks great with an innovative nozzle design. Clearly they are having some quality control issues; DRED FX got one with a burr inside the paint chamber underneath where the gravity feed cup screws on. But so far these have been minor issues easily fixed with a dremel. Not a bad trade off for the affordable price. When I get mine I’m also going to lube the trigger assembly. Great review!
Thanks for the reply. I agree the few easily fixed flaws make this an airbrush to get: I will definitely use it more and awaiting the Mobius 0.3 for review.
That’s a really interesting point about the Dremel tool, I wonder if it could be used with other airbrushes to soften the press down of the trigger, some can feel incredibly stiff!
Great review, I recently purchased the GHAC39 and the GHAD98 and I was wondering if you've done a review on either of those? Although I am relatively new to ab (less than a year) it does seem more trigger pressure is need for the Gaahleri than it's needed for my iwata hp. And I was curious if your "dremmel" idea would help with trigger response/consistency on the 39 and 98? P.s. The review was great! It's very Informative and helpful. If I could possibly offer a suggestion, turn the background music down just a bit or remove it all together. I'm watching to hear your opinion not the music. No offense intended just my honest opinion. Love the artwork!
Great portrait steve 👍 did a review on this the other day it is a nice brush and agree with you the trigger is nice main flaws are the inside bits But for the price it works well
Thanks Dred, I agree it’s a great brush for the price: true value and will put pressure on higher priced models…..keep up the great work on your channel!
Hi watched Dred fx custom review on this very brush and like you he found manufacturing flaws hope the company addresses these overall a good brush as a newbie i recently purchased a h+s ultra and that thing is on point for new starters in the airbrushing world please do some H+S reviews thankyou for your vid
i like the 0.3 mobius better than my H&S Ultra, but i prefer my 0.2 H&S Infinity more than the 0.2 mobius...but they are for the price still great airbrushes...the trigger on the 0.3 mobius feels better to me than the 0.2 mobius
Great review, I am impressed that the manufacturer took your suggestion to production. Your painting is tremendous!
