Tape ball cricket is useful to learn swing. In India we play with hard tennis and rubber balls. No swing, but good bounce and heavy balls compared to tape tennis balls

Well their is no inswing outswing when it comes to tape ball what Waseem Akram is telling happens in backyard cricket.
In big tournaments the batting team tapes the ball itself or the organizers tape the ball themselves.
It's extremely hard for bowlers because the wicket length is more than 22 yards and maximum it goes to 28 yards where bowlers get slayed and batters earn stupid amount of money.
Bowlers can beat the batsman with insane pace or varieties Plus perfect yorkers or bouncers since the wicket is made up of concrete it doesn't help the bowler because the ball is just too round it doesn't have a seam so you can get the ball seam
When he was playing street cricket tape ball was not a thing in lahore. It was just started in Karachi.

Actually the movement of tape ball shall help batsmen hone their skills but don't know why pakistan doesn't produce world-class batsmen on regular basis considering they face wobbling tape ball at the grass root level
Tape ball in Pakistan is usually fully taped no half taped so it isn’t swinging that much. Also it makes you very front foot biased when the key to top level batting is facing the short ball and hitting 360.
