Automated biopolymer processing with EWIKON hot runner systems

Hot runner solutions with digital process monitoring for automated biopolymer processing, which we have realised in close cooperation with mould maker UNIFORM for our customer Ecozema.
For the processing of demanding biopolymers with often narrow processing windows and high heat and shear sensitivity, EWIKON provides a wide range of technically advanced hot runner solutions and has already built up extensive know-how in this area at an early stage through extensive material tests and a large number of realised applications. Regardless of whether the application requires open gating, valve gate gating or side gating - with excellent thermal stability of all nozzle versions, flow-optimised and naturally balanced distribution technology without corners and sharp edges in the flow channel and precise control technology, virtually all biopolymers used on the market can be processed reliably.
