I was ADDICTED to this show when it aired, even though it made me feel absolutely horrible for the contestants and myself for enjoying it. But like a trainwreck I couldn’t turn away from it. Also the days when Vitamin C was popular. Simpler happier times.
Michelle, the one the judges walked out on, has a TH-cam channel, posted this, and commented that in the comment section, the judges simply told her that she wasn't what they were looking for. There was quite a bit of editing here.
I figured they edited in some of the more mean comments or the holding their faces in their hands like they were exasperated because the contestants, in most cases, were just nodding and accepting it and not getting mad or mouthing off like you would expect.
I remember back in 2004, me being 15 years old at the time, and laughing the entire way (and laughing just as much now in 2018). Yes, must have watched the entire season lol
As much as this show is completely cruel, I respect it for spitting facts about every other singing or talent show out there such as AGT and how fake and pre-decided every contestant moving onto rounds over others and every single singing winner is, so why not? However, they were hypocritical by the finale, as they chose the wrong contestant to win just because she was not terrible enough where they then could attempt to sell records of her singing afterward (which failed miserably).

If it wasn't for American Idol, this show wouldn't have existed. They made this show for people who think the bad auditions are the best part of American Idol.
this show could’ve easily still had contestants if they had just been honest about it from the beginning bc the idea actually sounds fun (doesn’t matter if you’re talented or not, if you’re a good performer you can thrive here where as you would in the real world or other shows because you can’t actually sing) but the fact that they lied to these people and put them through this process and then publicly humiliated them in front of thousands of people is absolutely cruel
Not really... because then ppl would have sang bad on purpose or did outrageous things just to try to win. By them NOT telling them the real purpose...it eliminated all of that. Not saying it's right ..it just made more sense not to tell them
The same ability which allows a person to judge whether they or other people are singing well is the ability which is crucial for them to be able to sing well. That's why there are so many people who can't sing that think they are great singers. They are horrible singers for the same reason that they can't hear that they are horrible singers.
