Thanks I wish you were around back in the early 80s… when I was 1st diagnosed. There was only shame and no one was out there talking about self love and respect. Of course we fear rejection because we have already rejected ourselves and our status

Sheeeesh such a beautiful lady! I met this woman off an App that I had to PAY FOR! We texted a lot then finally met. She doesn't want any more kids. Things got Hot one night and she told me she has HSV. I was caught off guard but I still like her. She's openly dating. I'm cool with it. Learning about this HSV showed me how much I care. Who knows what our future holds.

I just tested positive last Thursday and I've just been living in my head for the days since then.
Been kinda binge watching your videos to try and put my head around this but it is hard.
I'm paranoid to hell about opening up to anyone I got a mutual interest in as I'm scared of the rejection.
I know coming to them about it in a depressive light is not good at all but it is hard when you're also looking for comfort..
I think right now, knowing my brain objectively, is that I'll come to acceptance better once I got a decent sample pool of people finding no issue with it. I just need to cross the rubicon however here, which is quite hard.
Hey Laureen. I’m so grateful for your videos. I’m a 31 year old male recently diagnosed with HSV2. Been very depressed recently and can’t see myself getting back into the dating scene. Ive suffered from depression and anxiety even prior to this which has made dating a very arduous and taxing endeavor to begin with, so this is just like a double whammy for me. Not sure what to do. Any additional insight you could give would be greatly appreciated.
