I own both styles and for me the 2000 is more for casual dress and I use the 2005 when I’m more dressed up! Love them both!😊❤️
Hi Nastasia, I would consider keeping the 2005 beige, in my opinion the leather handle is more classy and it seems also a little bit more “strong”. And also the light blue if you like to have a second one 😘

I have the Prada Re-Edition 2005 with the logo-print shoulder strap in beige color and i' m so happy with it, it goes with everything.....but the blue looks so good in you and it matches your sweater.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

I would keep the one with the leather strap because you could always attach a long strap in the future with the d rings at the end of the handle 👌💕💕
I just bought the 2000 Re edition in The Black color. The reason i want this bag is...I like the comfort of the nylon. And not having to worry about damaging or getting dirty. I have a Chanel Le Boy in Lambskin. And i have to be extra careful with my bag. Also i feel the Prada Re Issue will be good for the fall and winter weather rain.
I have the 2005 in that beige and I recommend it 10/10. I think it’s going to hold up better with the leather handle also the strap drop is longer and that’s why I ultimately went with it. I also have a black re-edition 2005 with the multiple straps and i have to say nothing is wrong with having two lol
Wow what a great and informative video! I just got the Prada re edition 2000 specifically for the same reason as you did. When I saw this bag it brought me back to a fun period of time. I fell in love with it then and still love it after all these years. The black is it for me. Although I love all the colors, the black makes me nostalgic and was the vibe that I was going for. That 90s supermodel grunge era. Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, those times. I just posted my video too 💗🥰 Thanks for sharing you just validated my choice as I had a hard time picking between the 2000 and 2005! Ultimately the 2000 was what brought me back to the days I fell in love with it in the first place 😊

Great review! I just bought the Re-Edition in black and i love it. Keep the blue and the beige with the metal zipper and leather strap since the blue has the opposite . Your outfit looks beautiful!

My first bag in the 90s was Prada nylon. I would get the one with Saffiano leather handle. Otherwise the black. To add: this is a classic and so practical. Cant go wrong.
This is really a tough decision!! I would like the wider handle but everything else like in the 2005 re-edition. Now I love the astral blue! I wanted the begonia pink one but it has been out of stock for a long time and now they have added the pink version. This made me think whether or not the begonia pink is totally sold out now... I think, Prada is deliberately making the decision for us extremely difficult.😊 They must think that we need to collect all the colors...!! Great review and research again!! XX

However I’m leaning more towards the 2005 version and I wish it would come out in an emerald green color. Otherwise the black and the beige are always stunning choices that will fit perfectly into any handbag collection 😉

I wd preferred cameo beige nylon with saffiano leather trim 2005. The shoulder drop-off length is just nice. But if it is difficult for u to choose those colors then I would rather u keep to yr wishlist items to buy. U are alwys tat pretty n yr long hair too. I like yr indepth explanations of products ...pros n cons...alwys thanks for sharing will never miss yr postings unless u stop it. Of cos hope not...😊

I would choose the blue with leather strap and metal zipper. You have enough black bags and beige as well.
The blue Prada bag matches your outfit perfectly. It would be great if you find and show us the photo of you with a similar bag when you were about seventeen. Maybe you could do a video on how your style has changed though the years with various photos to document how you looked at the time.

I am in the same boat, I can’t decide between black and beige re edition 2005 with a crossbody strap.
If you go for beige get the one with the metal zip and leather trim. It's much better quality and will last you years longer :-)

I think you should get the beige 2005. The 2000 is more of a nostalgic piece I agree but you’re all grown up now and you have an elegant preppy grown up style now. You’re no longer in the clubs where you need the thicker handles but going for dinners and either way it’s still casual enough to wear daytime. The beige with the leather strap is amazing on you, and you can even attach a crossbody strap on that one and it looking good. With the cotton strap it won’t. If you do end up getting one: that’s my vote :)

This minibag was designed, initially, for the black colour. And - no matter that is 2000 or 2005 version - in black the bag has her full personality displayed. So, you should try a black 2005 ReEdition. Maybe, the version with chunky chain - because has the strap, too ... so, it can be worn, also, crossbody.

Do you have a preference between the leather and fabric handle? I want to get the black one but I’m not sure which one is better between the 2000 and 2005. I think you should keep the one that you would get the most use from.
If I would have chosen to keep the black one, then 100% the 2000 version. With beige I prefered the 2005 version 😋

The price on these reedition bags keeps on going up. I was planning on getting the 2000 3 months ago and it was 895. I was complaining then how it was just 700+ before that. 3 months later.... its now $950. But im glad i didnt buy it cause i want the 2005 better. 2005 price went up as well, so I just got it before they raise the price again 😭

I'll keep the beige 2005, I have a nylon bag from Prada in blue and the nylon handle gets super dirty! leather you can clean easily!!!

These bags are SO cute but as a vegan I just cannot bring myself to buy anything real leather. 😫😫😫 which we had some more nice vegan bags.
The re edition 2000 should be vegan :) just ask the customer service on the Prada website
I have several prada bags anybody who purchased this bag is foolish..period..bags is 50 or less at several consignment stores..good will probably 1.00...through money out the window why dont yah...
