tysm for the comparison! im totally goin to get the ava asap. i have the leather saffiano re-edition in beige and gold, and i use it so much for both formal and casual that the higher price point was worth it to me. the ava will be my new go to everyday, but i definitely think u can take it out for dinners too
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the*preluxz* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Seriously when you compare the time frame it's so ridiculous in TWO years plus the fact that it's nylon smh. The mini 2000 is like 350$ more expensive than it used to be as well 💀

But that has more to do with my specific version of the Prada. I like the versatility of your Prada, but not sure if it’s my vibe and not liking the price point… take care!

What I did when I bought my Prada reedition was I sold all my Prada Nylons before I bought the reedition. That was how I qualified that I “consolidated” all my Nylons to get the reedition. I still have canvas and leather totes anyway. I also bought around 2020 so I got the bag relatively cheaper than its price now. I recall it was your video that got me to really buy the bag 😊 one of my great investments I think. I live in a tropical country so the bag is sufficiently durable for the weather.

The Celine Ava Triomphe is on my radar and I think you just sold it to me even though you picked the Prada at the end, ironically😅 I do love the Prada too but I really can't jusitify the much heavier price tag! The strap on the Ava seems to be adjustable, no? If so, having it on the longer setting might make it easier to get in and out of?
I also have the Fendi Baguette alongside my Prada reedition. I think utility-wise, the Fendi is the same as the Eva bag. Between the Fendi and the Prada, I use the latter more. It’s just so versatile and durable. I have no worries using it or even lending to friends/family.
You could buy one of those new ava with removable strap and put on that wool Celine strap they sell separately. Then it ll be close to Prada’s look! ❤️
I think you can actually fit more in these bags than the Alma only because of the Alma's shape. The way it slims upwards makes it not as flexible for piling items in!

I have the Prada Re-Edition and the leather version of the Ava in medium. I love them both but I can see myself eventually aging out of the re-edition, but the Ava is more of a classic. Also, for the Ava in the medium size the strap is removable and adjustable.
@@maggyxchuu most probably canvas. Because I don't like the new leather design with the lobster claws at both sides. And canvas looks more casual, Celine. There are too many other brands doing similar in leather
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable*preluxz* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.

Ohmygosh I didn’t realize the 2005 with the chain strap had gone up to $1920. I got mine last year and it was around $1500. That’s crazy!!!
