Wow, have you checked out the card “Charmed Stray”? Seems overpowered.
What the hell I haven't seen a card this good since evolving wilds. This power creep is out of control.

Patreon is a great idea. I've no doubt ad revenue is down for you guys from the website as it's down EVERYWHERE and it's a much better option than paywalling the MTG content.

In addition to being "too easy" to choose for the back in time question, Blood Moon was already printed "back in time" in 1994!

I like the all access aspect of the event. The basically no bans part honestly reminds me of why there were bans in the first place. However, it is a good data collection exercise for the Arena team. Some cards seem OK to be unbanned.

Please find a way to make a mono white against the odds charmed stray deck. Card is apparently OP.

For unsactioned events we have a "horizonless" modern at our LGS and it's kinda saddening how good it is, if you would just cut the sets that were designed for it.
The demon that causes double life loss on your turn and a lose half life effect would be fun against the odds
Do you do any commander? That's really the only game mode I play.

I feel like paper magic as a whole has gone down a ton since the pandemic. Pioneer got hit really hard because of this.
Maybe all the starter decks is some sort of social media challenge to win games in the no ban event with a starter deck.

My atraxa deck loses to blood moon in most scenarios. It has zero basic lands.
just to clarify they will arata cards to make them not cats... but they wont FIX MODERN HORIZONS CARDS
So here's the compromise I would accept for resetting the ban list for Historic. Y'all can have that if we can have Historic Artisan as a permanent queue. That way, at least somewhere exists for lower powered games.
Against the odds, enigma jewel, mostly because there are not that many “good” activated abilities yea there are combos with activated abilities via Soul Cauldron but playing it pseudo fair and just doubling up activated abilities is very against the odds style
Changing naga to snake is lame, would have rather they doubled down on the creature type
Talking about the perfect length of a podcast: your podcast is, for me at least, to long. I agree with Seth, more around the half hour mark would be better. But it is of course personal preference.
There is no such thing as reprints I have “lost” 1000s by stuff being reprinted but compared to the cost of players not being able to play with cards is much higher
If they make this a regular event lets also agree that we can't moan about WotC trying to squeeze every penny out of the player base; when they do something fun, free, and accessible to everyone on the platform a subset of players demand that it be paywalled off

I'm all for reprints. Let more people have the opportunity to get some reprinted cards. To say otherwise is selfish.
Seth's fake voices are so annoying, I will never willingly watch another video where he appropriates a fake voice. Gross. Why be fake on purpose?
