    Jo, you're such an inspiration to all of us who want to write and make writing our life's work. Wishing you all best in the coming year and with the pivot!

    Thank you for sharing your an insight into your author business and pivot. Running your own path and believing in your direction of your pivot is inspiring. I've been hooked to your non-fiction as I start and grow my business, but I've been curious and eager to read at least one of your fiction novels as I plan to write non-fiction and fiction. I have too many books I have already bought stacking up on my bookshelf and trying to be purposeful in what I read next to have it mirror what I am writing or trying to learn.

    Thanks for this episode. I could have listened to more! It made me think about my future in relation to being an author.

    Good luck with all the new plans Jo. I'm sorry to hear the courses will be closed. I use them as refreshers, and I will miss them but I understand you are moving on. Glad the old podcast will be around a bit longer. It's great to get the news and hear what everyone else is doing. Best Wishes MC

      Thanks, MC, and you will be able to access the courses for the next 6 months at least, maybe a year, and you can download any videos/audios you want to keep etc. I'm glad you have found them useful :)

      Thanks Jo I will get a hard drive !!!! I do have the books and I do listen to the audio but video holds my attention for a quick ' get in the mood' ' pay attention and do this...' When Mum was here with the dementia crisis in full rage it was doable because I think she thought video was real where as a book could be ripped off me etc !! So - yes I am quite attached to them :) And still working on getting my books out there LOL

    Thank you so much, I was on the brinks of crying. I did not understating pivoting when you announced it. I thought you were dropping all things and going back to your old job, consulting

    You’re a rockstar. Thanks for the inspiration and I love your Ai content.

    I like that section about embracing change. When I think about it, people will not stop reading books - if anything they will "consume" more of them.
    When you spoke about AI tools, did you also mean tools that help with dictation and transcription?

    • @thecreativepenn
      @thecreativepenn  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely, people will always want stories and books :)
      On AI tools, I use Otter.ai for transcription right now, and there are lots of options as speech to text is so good.

    Would you consider hosting an AI fiction writing bootcamp course where you lead other authors in writing fiction with ai sessions using your process? Or record a video of you doing it live in real time? I would like to join that course.

      I have done a webinar on it, and I have videos in my Patreon, but it changes so fast that I don't intend to do a course on it.

    So sad Jo that Hay House closed down and will be merged with PRH.

      Pretty normal in terms of publishing business, though.

      @darrenirvine4243 This is shocking to me. Hay House was always proudly independent. Very sobering that they've sold themselves to Big Publishing.
