Gåte is amazing! The singer Gunnhild actually sang at my cousins wedding when she was only 14 years old. My uncle helped them getting started back then. Solid band. Love them.

Gåte’s music is a dark, mesmerizing and stunningly beautiful take on Nordic folk. Where they flirt with elements from traditional Norse and pagan music as well as from more modern genres like rock and industrial.
The chorus is a socalled KULOKK, - the maiden calling the cattle in from the the mountains. The roots of this song are a thousand years old.
The vocalist isn't that old. She's 38. But she started singing in the band Gåte in 1999 at the age of 14! Ingrid Jasmin with Eya is actually only two years younger.

Gåte is super popular here in Norway the way they mix traditional folk music,dialects and old Norwegian with rock is amazing and i knew when i heard they where entering they would win.

This is my favorite performance, i love my country's song, but i don't mind if Norway will win.

I personally like it and the quality is there, but it's a song with a structure that seems anything but catchy, that's a weak point...
This is not a song made for Spotify but the stage, it’s clear this was made for a wider audience and just for the purpose to be watched and enjoyed. It’s Eurovision, it’s all about knowing what we’re looking for💗

I listen to rock/metal but this is difficult for me to enjoy. Especially as the song progresses and becomes more cacophonous.

Hmmm interesting match up.. No I don't think so, Blanca's song was very nice but some people must've hated her voice as it seems, here we have another similar vibrant voice but we do also have some amazing instrumentals, I believe this will do so well but let's see!

I dont like it . Horrible lyric and to mutch screaming . Norway Gåte Ulveham ,Many people are not aware of what she actually sings, which in my opinion is a cruel text from the old days. And i am from Norway ! The text copied from newspaper today:
She summarizes "Ulveham", based on an old medieval ballad, as the story of an evil stepmother who casts a curse on her stepdaughter - who turns into a wolf running in the forest forever. She only loses her wolf's hide if she drinks her own brother's blood.
"There will be a kind of happy - but cruel - ending when she meets the stepmother on horseback in the forest, throws herself at her, rips out her heart and drinks the blood. Because the stepmother is pregnant with her brother - thereby the curse is lifted.
I must also mention that they are pro Palestinians and against Israel and did not want to show up because Israel is going to Malmö but changed their minds .
