I’m surprised you didn’t include a pen! I feel like I’m always needing a pen for like signing receipts and stuff. I also always carry a teeny tiny tub of Vaseline or aquaphor for my lips or dry areas on my skin, and either a mini hair clip or Bobby pin. Oh and some allergy/gasx medicine! Cool video, got some good ideas from you :)

The Clipa is the absolute best invention ever !! You can even wear as a bracelet. It’s way better than ordinary bag hooks for tables.
Who else really needed this right now? 😂 just got a new purse and now that I’m starting to go out again (following social distancing measures ofc) I need to fill it up!

If you don't feel comfortable or not allowed to carry pepper spray, a small can of hairspray is a great alternative. Not only is it legal but it's great for hair on the go as well.
Since I was in college my friends always told me I was such a mom, I’ve always carried a ton of stuff! And now that I have a toddler you don’t even know the stuff I bring..
My not always essential recommendations are:
- Summer’s Eve intimate cleansing cloths (specially for THOSE days), they are individually wrapped
-extra face mask, sometimes I accidentally drop mines and I always have a back up one
-chapstick
-hand cream (all the hand sanitizer got me bad)
-small sunscreen (Reapply every two hours!)
-reusable travel straw
-eye drops
-KOSIN safety alarm keychain
-PACSAFE anti theft bra pouch (greeeeat if you make exercise outdoors)
Love the sunscreen. Also the reusable straw. I'm disabled and it's hard for me to drink without a straw. Many cities where I live are phasing out straws. Eye drops again an amazing idea.
The scrunchies are brilliant! Sticking the little poo-pourri bottle in there is so clever😂 totally doing this! 🙂
Yes to pepper spray. You just never know. A couple years ago I was walking my dog in a totally safe area, and an off-leash dog ran up to us and started attacking my dog. I owned pepper spray but just didn’t have it with me in my bag at the time. I really wish I had had it. (Btw my dog made a full recovery!) But to that end, you should always keep your pepper spray somewhere easily accessible, like an outside or inside pocket, or somewhere you know exactly where it is. Because when you really need it, you won’t have time to go rifling through the bottomless pit. Not trying to be depressing, just trying to share some advice!
@Anne Riley. I was walking my Golden in the neighborhood and a pit bull came from nowhere...growling. Instinctively (as my dog is like my child), I scream as loud as I could, "GO HOME, GO HOME" and he turned around and went home! Miracle!

Pepper gel is better because you won’t risk it coming back at you if it’s windy. It will also spray farther

The Bim Bim sounds incredible. I get so tired of blindly feeling for things at the bottom of my bag.
Body wipes are a great idea, and of course now, you always have to have a personal size of hand sanitizer.
An absolute yes to pepper spray. Having 2 daughters, I always want them to be safe.

YES to the pepper spray, 100%. I usually keep a travel manicure set in my purse just in case. The scrunchie is a game changer, I NEED that for sure!
I did the same thing with my pepper spray years ago... I got curious, sprayed it into a trash can and took a big whiff... big mistake, but glad I’m not the only curious one 😄 great video! Thanks for sharing!
Just a tip from my self defense class be careful if you ever use pepper spray because you can get spray back when used or leak in your bag which will leave you vulnerable. My teacher actually said keep wasp spray in your car, it sprays at a long distance and still be effective!

Finally something different, thank you for mentioning items that are actually useful!! There’s a really nice travel brush on Amazon, I believe it’s called the Macaron Brush. I think it’s really cool and it’s nice how it closes so your hair doesn’t get anywhere else and it has a mirror!
Please please do a designer bag “dupes” or inspired by video (not fake bags just trendy bags that are similar looking to the real thing). You’re perfect for giving us this info!!
I literally carry my phone, cards, blotting papers, and car key 🤣. I can’t do a heavy bag, whatsoever

I used to always keep tampons inside the little zipper compartment of all my purses. I wouldn't even buy a purse if it didn't have that compartment.
I also had two small (now big) boys. Skipped the pepper spray and went straight for a small concealed carry handgun.

I keep a pretty pink taser . Amazon purchase. MayI also recommend that you can REPURPOSE large tic tac containers, round gum dispensing boxes, eyeglass case, old prescription bottles and strip pill boxes for all those tiny supplies.
(Bobby pins, band aids, plug in/cord, goldfish crackers, jewelers, teeth flosses, stamps, xtra key, coins)
Contact lenses cases for Vaseline, toothpaste, foundation.
I am currently moving from a changing bag back to a handbag, so may treat myself to lots of these because I deserve treats 💕 love your videos Shea! Xxx

my essentials are a pill case just for headache medicine, pepto, gasx, benedryl etc. roll on perfume, mini lotion, mini hand sanitizer, mini concealer, tweezers, mini eyebrow razors for when i miss my knees shaving lol!, chapstick, hair pins. hair ties and eyeglass cleaner :)
I agree completely I carry pepper spray and a little sharp knife because you have to be prepared for anything, I carry everything you mentioned but you forgot the altoids always fresh breath is a must and pantyshields 👍

@sheawhitney Ive always used a purse holder & what a help but... finally got my bimbim in mail today & LOVE it! After looking at a few different ones, I really do think that the BIMBIM brand is the best one. (Actually bought 2, one for purse & one for tote)
You should check out Bagnet. It’s a magnet for your purse, very handy especially in bathrooms with no hooks. It’s strong though, when I get out of my car sometimes I hear a “thunk” and it’s attached to the door, lol. Comes in all sorts of styles. I love mine.
I have almost every thing on your list & I know some were from your previous videos like this. Faves are the purse clip & the light for your handbag. I will be updating to the Bim Bim.
One tip from this nurse and mom to add to your first aid pouch is Neosporin pain relief spray. Because it’s spray you don’t need to touch anything, especially when out and about. It also takes the sting out of a cut or abrasion!!

Gosh, I'm trying to get back into my femininity journey after going through a period of depression. I'm also trying to make a habit out of myself to carry hand bags since I don't have this habit at the moment. I use to. When I was about 11 or 12. I got bullied for it because the bag I held was pink and glittery. 🤷🏻♀️
I was a literal child so it appealed to me. There is no reason to be bullied for it either. BUT now I'm trying to get back into it like I said and I'm very proud of myself.

I have a light on my keys so I use that if I need a torch. We’re also not allowed to use or own pepper spray in Australia.
That purse hook you can get key ring versions. I discovered those years ago and they are awesome. What’s with those scrunchies? I’ve suddenly started seeing them.
I also like blotting sheets, a toothbrush (mostly because we can’t get the wisps in Australia anymore), and those wipes which are compressed into a tablet and you just add water. I always carry a water bottle so they are super useful. I also have a small container with a few pain killers, hair pins, mini scissors, and nail clippers, and I never leave home without bandaids.
